Em Punke and Ernst Reiman Em Punke arrived in Germany in 1924-25. His first companion was Ernst Reimann. Ern Punke professed in 1913 and started in the Work in 1919. After five years in SA went to Germany with Olga Hasting and Frieda Schmidt in 1924. He spent several years prior to WW2 in Austria, then during the War (1939-1945) preached in Switzerland. He had difficulty getting permission to visit Australia after the War and returned to Austria. He married Finny who went into the Work with him. They spent several years in SA during the 1950s and returned to Germany in 1959 where Ern died in 1964. - Pripp, Rasmus

Lewis Murray suffered considerably for his choice to refuse to carry a gun in US military service in World War I. In 1919. After he was discharged from the service, he became a worker, and in 1933, he and Dan Leighty were the first to go preach in Mexico. Archie Turner pioneered Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland in 1928, labored in Canada; Overseer of Queensland Australia 1959-1971 and Overseer of Scotland 1971. Nelson Retchford from South Australia entered work in 1924, preached mostly in India and SA. He was one of pioneers to Burma (Myanmar) and he died in 1989. - Allen, Jean
