Andrew Abernethy and Evan Jones Andrew Abernethy was Overseer of Ohio, Indiana & New York at various times before succeeding George Walker as general Overseer of Eastern USA. He was succeeded by Taylor Wood who was succeeded by Barry Barkley in 2008. Evan Jones (1910 - 2001) went in the work in 1938 and became Overseer of Victoria and Tasmania, Australia.

Jardine Bros
The three Jardine brothers were long-time overseers in the North Central states. Walter served in N. Dakota, Jim in Minnesota and Nicol in Wisconsin. That area became widely known as “Jardine territory”. When Nicol Jardine died, there were about 1,340 people present and 220 cars in the funeral procession.
