They married April 2, 1907andprofessed around 1909.
Entered work May 23, 1911, leaving behind an 18 mo. son Archie with Rene\'s brother Clyde Lester and wife.
Another 3 children were born while they were in the work and moved around New Zealand with their parents.
Preached in Australia, Tasmania & New Zealand.
Rene Beattie wrote several hymns in Hymns Old & New. Ralph died in 1958.
Rene died in 1969 and is buried at Stratford.
