After John West sold Crocknacrieve, the annual conventions
were held on nearby property owned by his brother William and Harriett West
(John West's brother) at Mullaghmeen, on Ardgart Road from 1923 to 1928.
They ended when the Division of 1928 occurred and the Wests sided with Cooney
when he was excommunicated.Cooney didn't believe conventions had a scriptural basis.
John and William West were born and raised there.
