William Charles (Bill) Carroll and Margaret Hastings on their wedding day, June 6, 1901, in the Church of Ireland at Rathmolyon, County Meath, Ireland. Bill & Margaret entered the work in 1903 and arrived in Australia in 1905. Their only child, a daughter, May, was born in 1902 in Ireland and married an Australian man, Adolphus ("Dolph") Schultz. Margaret Carroll died in 1944, and Bill Carroll died on November 13, 1953, aged 77 years. Bill Carroll was born August 15, 1876, at Newtown, Moynalty, Kells, County Meath, Ireland. He was the eldest of 6 children: William (Bill), John T. (Jack), Mary (Mae), Agnes (Aggie), Frances (Fannie) and Cecilia Primrose. Margaret Hastings had two brothers, Warren and Thomas Hastings, and possibly other siblings. Bill Carroll was born August 15, 1876, at Newtown, Moynalty, Kells, County Meath, the eldest of 6 children. Margaret was born April 20, 1875. She was from Coragh, Rathmolyon, Co. Meath, Ireland. They were married on June 6, 1901, in the Church of Ireland at Rathmolyon, County Meath. Their daughter was born in 1902. Bill and Maggie Carroll entered the work in 1903 and arrived in Australia in 1913. Maggie died in 1944 and Bill died in 1953. May (Carroll) Schultz, the only child of Bill & Maggie Carroll May Carroll, was born May 31, 1902 and died Aug. 6, 1961, age 89. She married ex-worker Adolphus ("Dolph") Schulz from Queensland, Australia who was born Sept. 17, 1896 and died Feb. 26, 1986, age 90. They are buried in Box Hill Cemetery in Victoria, Australia. May is Registration No. 45097, Date of Service August 9,1991, Location P NS558. Adolphus is Registration No. 44085, Date of Service, March 3, 1987, Location P NS558.
