Lester VanDenBerg and Anne Bakker
First Brother Workers arrived in Suriname on Oct. 4, 1950,
from the Netherlands.
In 1953, Anne Bakker married Lize Pengel.
Later that year, Lester VanDenBerg returned to US.
In 1954, he married Helen M. Waddingham, and they
had two sons, David and John--who is in the US work.
Lester died in 2012, aged 102.
