FRAN’s PURE RASPBERRY SAUCE

We ADORE this Raspberry Dessert Sauce and special order it.
Have never found anything that compares with it.

Ingred:  Seedless raspberries, sugar & lemon juice
All Natural – no preservatives

RASPBERRY SAUCE

1 c water
1 c sugar
4 T cornstarch
2 T lemon juice or vinegar
Raspberry liquid from (2) 10 oz pkg frozen raspberries, drained

Combine water, raspberry liquid, sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Cook stirring constantly til thickened and clear.  Add lemon juice.


CHOCOLATE GRAVY

1-1/4 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
1/2 t salt
1/2 c flour
2 c milk
1/4 c butter
1 t vanilla

Combine sugar, cocoa, salt and flour in skillet.  Mix well.
Stir in milk gradually.
Add butter and cook til thickened, stirring constantly.
Add vanilla and stir well.
Serve with hot buttered biscuits


CRANBERRY RELISH        (Dot Berry)  
Great for Thanksgiving!

16 oz can whole-berry cranberry sauce
½ c orange marmalade
½ lemon (juice and grated rind of)
¼ c chopped pecans

Combine all ingredients
Chill until ready to serve
Makes 2 cups.


RUM SAUCE (Southern Living) 1/2016

1/2 cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1/2c butter
1/2 c half & half
1 t rum extract or vanilla

In heavy saucepan over med heat, bring first 4 ingredients to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 min.
Cool.
Stir in extract.

Good over bread pudding.
