Alice Morris and Vivie Hawse. Alice was born in 1891 in Tasmania, started in the work in 1919 and was one of the first sister workers to Sri Lanka in 1928, She continued to preach in Sri Lanka until she died in 1962 at age 71. She is buried in Sri Lanka. _________________________________ Violet Florence "Vivie" Hawse was a sister of Les Hawse, and another sister Alma was also in the work. Violet was born in Tasmania in 1903 and also worked in Sri Lanka. She married a Mr. McDonald at some point, and died in Victoria in 2006, aged 103. - Morris, Hilary & Martha Vermaak

On January 8, 1893, William Irvine “began to serve the Lord.” Several sources state that Irvine was born again or professed faith in Christ when he was about 30 years old in a meeting held at the Town Hall of Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland, through a well-known traveling evangelist named Rev. Matilda Smeenk, Born: July 11, 1899 in Worthing, South Dakota.. Died: September 16, 1982 at age 81. She was in the work in Rotterdam at the time of the German bombing during World War II and was interned as a United States citizen for 18 months, first in Holland and later in a camp in Germany. In March 1944, she was expatriated with more than 500 Americans on a Swedish refugee ship, the Gripsholm. - ND 1945 Hunter
