In February 1888, Jane (Carter) Long, John Long's Grandmother died.
She is buried in the Modreeny Churchyard beside her brother Thomas Carter (one of 3 tombstones on the left).
Thomas Carter "was a famous Methodist Local Preacher in the Cloughjordan circuit."
