This premise was formerly owned and traded
as a saddlery shop bythe Fawcett family.

Fawcett's main source of business was milling.
They owned a large mill that was used for grinding corn to producing flour.

RE: James Fawcett (1886–1958). He went in the work in 1904;
he was a cousin of GeorgeWalker and wrote Hymn "Cease Not”

He was not included in the latest Hymns Old and New edition (1987).
It contained the phrase: "Cease Not to Worship the Father and Son,
The Holy Spirit and these Three are One … my Saviour and my God”

(Hymn No. 239, 1951 ed.).
