Possible location of the first ever Sunday morning meeting. This small building is the gate lodge at the entrance to Crocknacrieve House, Ballinamallard, Co. Fermanagh, N. Ireland. The other possible location is over Weir's Store at 21 Upper Baggott St., Dublin, Ireland. - Carrick House front
Located southwest of Dublin, Carrick House is the oldest Convention continuously held in Ireland. Also, it is the second longest running Convention in the world. This home, with 24-inch thick stone walls, is well over 200 years old. John Pearson (1856–1938) professed in 1902 and purchased his old homeplace, Carrick House, around 1906. John's son, Irvine Pearson (1908–1997), an Overseer of Ireland for a time, was born and raised in this home. - Weirs of Baggot St - 2012

In October, 1899, William Irvine led an experimental group of 8 young men to Scotland to work a mission, putting into practice the Matt.10 instructions Jesus gave the 12 disciples. A notation on some copies of this photo reads: "Picture taken in Ireland before these men professed." The dates they entered the work, and the names of the men are printed on some copies of this picture: Gill-1900; 3. George Walker-1899; 4. John Hardy-1900; 5. Wm Ervin (William Irvine) pre-1899; 6. William (Bill) Carroll-1903; 7. Irvine Weir-1900; 8. Warren Hastings (no date given)." NOTE: According to the The Secret Sect by Doug & Helen Parker, p. 90, Sam Boyd accompanied William Irvine on his first mission trip to Scotland in 1899. The letter's contents read: "This is to certify that I have checked the articles on the "Tramp Preachers" and the late Mr. Edward Cooney which were published in the "Impartial Reporter." I have found that the photo copies are true reproductions of the original articles published in the "Impartial Reporter an d Farmers' Journal" on the dates recorded. These files are available for inspection at these offices by special arrangements with the proprieters. If I should be of any further assistance, please let me know.
