Pioneers to Greece: John Micheletos/McLetos and Theo Karvounakis. In 1920 John & Annie (McBride) Micheletos/McLetos were a married worker couple who pioneered the work in Greece, John's homeland. John was imprisoned there several times, as proselytizing was against the law. She died in 1948 and he in 1966. In 1924, Theodosios "Theo" Karvounakis (a Greek from Australia) and Fred Quick (from Australia) joined them. - 1966 Greek Workers
