Over the years, Hymns Old and New has been revised several times, and later editions printed. R. L. Allan of Scotland has been the publisher since 1919. The FIRSTt edition was printed in 1913 by R. L. Allan & Son (141 and 143 Sauchiehall St., Glasgow, Scotland). Some other versions were published in Australia in 1917-1921. Many editions do not show the date of publication. The following chart may help identify the various editions.
