My dear Willie, Rose and Co.:
Was glad to hear all the news of the S. It stands the test pretty well, and so much to encourage us every way. The world may find some excuse for conditions in the war, but how can they get over the signs in the sky, air and earth? The war could not affect that. If the 1 st Woe or consequences of the war are so world-wide and uncontrollable, surely the 2 nd Woe will not be less. The papers clearly indicate that the present discontent amongst nations is over the settlement, or the injustice of the strong toward the weak nations. This is the key note to Wilson's speech to Congress, and the indication of U.S.A. attitude towards the League.
The biggest earthquake shock recorded by instruments took place on the 17th Dec. and put some of their instruments out of fix. The cyclone for 3 days in Australia about the 10th with earthquake in several places. Meteoric showers in England and thunder bolt in Rome and bomb in Romania and martial law in Ireland, all speak to those who have ears to hear. We had earthquake in Alaska to begin on Dec.1; Dec. 4th in Cal. Dec 10th N. of S. America, Italy and Albania. In Argentina about 14; in Pacific on 17; in China about 21st; killing in all - 3,000 people in the different places, and the rest are not reported. These are all indications from God, which indicate new activities of the Devil on earth, as seen in the bomb and martial law and other moves which we can't see perfectly. But Greece is playing her part. Bolshis are after Poland, Romania, etc. India goes on getting more clearly anti-Lion.
The Irish propaganda is far and wide and producing conditions that nothing but blood can wipe out. The Hearst papers give a much better insight into the Anti side than any others. The world is about equally divided between the League of Nations and the International party headed by U.S.A. The British Empire is to League what U.S.A. is to the International Association. America's cry at election was to insure universal justice to the world. This is as much as to say the League was not doing it. What Germany was to Britain in the late war, U.S.A. will be in the next. There are many mutterings in high places to indicate this. The oil question is the key. The Big Navy, Marine & etc. only the straws which indicate what is at the back of the whole.
Mrs. Harvy and Mrs. Jackson's attitude suggests the war in Ireland, by stabbing and shooting in the back and ambush. They refuse to hear the other side and then say you can't convince them. All who have heard honestly have been convinced, and their whole attitude is too like the old Scribe and Pharisees we had to deal with in other days. Their defense was to shut the eyes and ears of their victims by every possible method that was possible. Their cry of no fellowship is the cry of the darkness of every age. For light is death to darkness.
Away with this fellow from the earth - is an open confession of wickedness. It was in the heart of Cain the first, and will be the last. No man was allowed in Synagogue fellowship who would mention the name of Jesus, the living prophet, and all this was done in the name of the dead prophets, and such was meted out to those same men when alive. It was because of the deaf ears, and blind eyes of Egypt, that the Lord sent the plagues to convince those who were weak of His power to break the power of the blind Egyptians.
I am satisfied that Paul's condition was exactly similar to our own, and the fact that all the prophets and apostles wrote only when they could no longer speak to the people, indicate the same conditions. Nearly all of Paul's Epistles were written during the last 7 years of his life. His teachings and example was as ours had been, but you can see 2 Cor. 11; 13 the conflict, and I am satisfied his thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet him was as ours. Wine and women are the scriptural causes given for the weakening of all God's Elect prophets. Jacob's halting in his walk. The fact that the Least of the Apostles were to be the victims of the greatest with perfect hands, feet and eyes. The fact that the Holy seed could get over sin in the sinner cannot reveal them otherwise than by sin in those God has most sealed. The joy and crown Paul had in the saints through his seal of God in the calling days, demands a crown of thorns from the wicked in his casting down days.
Spiritual uncleanness, fornication and lasciviousness can best be revealed by these sins in the flesh being visited upon God's anointed. Paul speaks taking pleasure in infirmities, reproaches, persecutions, in distress for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. You will find in 2 Cor. 11, 12, 13 the exact conditions outlined. Though it takes some courage to read them as I have to you. He was crucified
through weakness, yet He liveth by the power of God. When God permits Satan to test us for the perfecting and choosing of His own. You can see the same means used all through the Old Testament, and you can best be guided in Job through the humiliation days. You can see the comforters could not believe that Job suffered the loss of all but life, without a cause, and this cause they made clear to be Sin. The theory of the wicked always being that a man must suffer for his sins.
Outward weakness in the anointed of God finds out the inward weakness of those who profess to be His people and reveals the absence of the nature and Love of God. For weakness in those whom God has sealed should demand more tenderness than weakness in the sons of Adam, and when this is reversed, we can see how it searches the hearts of the righteous and makes manifest those who have the righteousness of the Pharisee, from those who have the righteousness of God as revealed in Jesus. This is born out by the Prodigal story.
The triumph of His grace in the prodigal returning to his father over all the power of sin, causes heaven to rejoice more than over 99 just men that need no repentance. While the triumph of wickedness seen in the elder brother who needed no repentance shows the need for the final test as revealed in all God's seed in the righteousness that appeals to the eyes of men, but the heart righteousness of God can ever apprehend, and all the separation marks between the tares and the wheat, the sheep and the Devil's Zoo.
If men are to be perfected as God in heart towards the sinner universe, one can see the need of being made one of them not only as a man, but as the anointed of God. So that we may be convinced of the absolute power of God to love a sinner from the futherest or uttermost to the uttermost.
The depth, intensity and fullness of the Grace of God has been multiplied to me by 7 these past years, compared with the miserable conception I had of it before. And just so has the wickedness of the wicked become more hateful and horrible. So that I would welcome anything that would make it manifest and deliver me from it forever. And one can see how impossible the Grace and power of God is to reach sinners in their need when mixed with wickedness in us or in being mixed up with such a wicked seed.
Thus we see that the Bride who are to reign with Him for 1,000 years have all passed thru the very same perfecting that we have gone thru, and all who are His on the earth have and are being tested in the same way. It's a perfect test, and my heart rejoices today when I see or hear of those who are counted worthy to suffer thus - for His name.
It's comical to see how weak and unwilling they are to recognize their sins, and how stoutly they seek to maintain their righteousness before men. No honest man has any difficulty in saying before men, "God be merciful to me a Sinner" - when he reads what God writes in his heart, and thus in whom God is working can't throw stones, whereas those in whom the Devil is working look upon it as their privilege and duty to do so. But there are many who don't know their right hand from their left, and who do violence in His name-- Who can only hope for deliverance thru the experience gained thru the suffering of His anointed.
So we see many who will listen when the day of manifestation takes place. They did it ignorantly in unbelief, but when the prophet is perfected thru Jonah's experience and the whale (the big wicked whale of the sea of wickedness) runs on the rocks and vomits out God's Jonah on the dry land, and gives him power to speak what he could not understand, or the need or value of it. When the birds of the air are devouring the carcass of the whale, God's Dove will be delivering the message which will deliver the ignorantly wicked. Where the carcass is, there will be the eagles gathered together. Where the anointed is, there will be the needy gathered to listen. You can see how perfectly Jonah's story harmonizes with Revelation.
The Big (overcomes) casting out (rebuked and chastened) (overcomers) who stick to the Love of God thru the storm and are willing to be the rejected. The whale is the Big wicked devouring church seeking to digest us in the wicked sea agitated by the new world conditions brought about by judgment, casting up mire and dirt in its fury and trouble.
The Vomiting of Jonah is the Rev. 11 experience in revealing the big whale the Big Whale stranded on the shore of time in place of being "Raptured." To be devoured by the Birds of the air during the Tribulation period. This is the "falling away" period, when men will see the destruction of the whole and the increase world-wide of the Everlasting Gospel by the Bride, 144,000 with the liberation of those who have been bound by wicked violence thru ignorance not knowing their right hand from their left. You can see how it harmonizes with the life - death - resurrection - ascension and descent of the Holy Ghost and the deliverance to the thousands who did not know which to believe. But as they come from all parts of the world ot Jerusalem, so the Bride will go to all parts of the world so that every man can hear in his own tongue and place.
Rev. 3:9--Behold I will make them to come and worship before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee, because thou hast kept the Word of my patience - I will keep thee from the hour of Trial - or the Tribulation which shall come on all them which dwell on the earth in all the world. Behold I come quickly. Hold that fast which thou hast. Let no man take thy Crown. A Crown of thorns in the world's eyes, a crown of God in His. It seems almost too good to be true, but it's like our God and in harmony with the whole record of His dealings with men in other days. So I better not give you too much. It's enough to give one a swelled heart, if not a swelled head.
Well we are having another new year celebration today and tomorrow. The Greek Catholic. We have 3 era dates here. Jewish year is 5681, and their monthly date is 28. The Mohamedans is 1530, and their monthly date 27. The Christian is 1921 and their monthly date is 6th. The Christian Greek is 1921 and their monthly date is (no date given.) The 7th is the 1st day of Jan. and my 1st in Adam. So I'm lucky to have such a big celebration. The bells are very busy today. I should have said rather that this is Xmas day and a week later the New Year for the Greeks. So both my birthdays come in for celebration. One can see how these things work to cause confusion in the hearts of the people.
We have 3 Sundays every week--Friday - Mohamedan; Saturday - Jewish; Sunday - Christian. Indicating the need for a clear witness to bring about deliverance to those who are in bondage. The Ant-christ is to impose the Jewish Calendar. So we can see that there is going to be some world trouble on this point. U.S.A. are urging a strong Sabbath Campaign along with Prohibition, etc. Prohibition has produced more criminal law breakers than all other causes. The wave of crime in U.S.A. is God's comment on the fact and it will increase world wide.
When the wicked interpret the law of God, sinners are destroyed because they become rebels against God thru what is done in His name. The law which was designed to restrain men from doing violence to one another become the cause and excuse for violence to one another. The old Jewish disease proved to be in the Gentile at the end of the age, producing the same envy, strife, division, hatred, enemity, malice and wickedness which destroyed the Jewish whale in A.D. 70 and scattered it to the winds of the heavens, to be hated as the smell of dead whale is always hated. The big whale blows (which stink) of accusation and condemnation always indicates where the whale is and how it is traveling, and the sicker it gets the more and softer the blow and the smell
This is God's way of showing us the course of events. I suppose Jonah knew how things were going in small measure and Jonah 2 is very good to interpret our experience Spiritually. Jonah 2:9 is very good as showing how he had come to the same conclusion we have. They that regard lying vanity, forsake their own mercy.

My Dear Laughlins:
Yr letter was very good & comforting, & bore both the marks of a man & a christian, which marks are absent from the wicked Cain Seed no matter how perfect their sacrifice may be. When people who are called brethren, lack the mercy marks, that human nature should bring into our experience & also the mercy marks, which the devine (sic) nature should have, then we suspect they are of the same relationship as Cain to Abel, & fail to have the anointing which God giveth.
Why should these things happen?
Why the stone of God's choice should be the one the builders reject?
Why should Jesus who came forth full of Grace & truth for sinners return to His Father full of wounds & bruises received in the house of His Friends, as a sinner, heretic, blasphemer, & mover of sedition? Why should the Angels who fell by pride & iniquity have been allowed (missing)
The Devil being the God of this world, the prince & power of the air. (Whatever is not spoken of God is air)
Why should the Beast, false prophet & Devil have dominated the world, in name of God for 6000 yrs? Why should the Lord put Adam out of the Garden after He had clothed him with Lamb skins, to till the ground from whence he was taken?
Why should the Son's (sic) of God, & the greatest & fairest of men & women be found outside the Ark, & only 8 persons saved in 120 yrs?
Why did they not see the flood coming, & mock up to the day it came & took them all away? Why was Ham cursed after being in the Ark?
Why are so many Called & so Few Chosen?
Why should so many be first in mens eyes, & last in God's eyes, & Vice Versa?
Why did the Prince's (sic) Moses made, become thorns in his side? & get such power over the people, that they were shut out of the land, & died in the wilderness, all of those who had reached two yrs of age?
Why should Paul couple the false prophets in the church with Jannes & Jambres of Egypt?
Why should he speak about those who had been enlightened & got every benefit of the Gospel Paul preached, bring forth thorns & briers, (false prophets & false Saints) rather than herbs, meet for those by whom it is dressed?
Why did he say that all the preachers seek their own, & not the things that are Jesus Christs?
Why did all they of Asia forsake Paul? Why had he to stand alone? the first time on trial for his life? Why did he tell Timothy & Titus to turn from those who had the form of Godliness & denied the power of it?
Why does he speak of those crucifying the Son of God afresh, putting Him to an open shame, in their treating Paul as the false prophets as (sic) the Jews had treated Jesus?
Why should Peter (11 Peter 11) speak about many false teachers in the church & many following their pernicious ways, causing the Way of truth to be evil spoken of?
Why should he speak of them being scoffers at the warnings of judgment near at hand for the Jews? He wrote in 56 A.D. Judgment fell in 70 A.D. on the Jews & on the church.
Why is there so little said of what Paul preached in his preaching days & only what is written from 60 A.D. with 3 exceptions given to us?
Why does he have to contend for a little place in the hearts of those he had laboured for, & amongst so long, 30 yrs?
Why does he give us such a painful picture of those he said the world was not worthy of, in Heb. XI? Why should those we value most now, have become the least valued by the church in their own day? Why should so many climb up & so few enter by the door, & the climbers up take possession & put the shepherds & sheep out?
Why should the real Temple of God & its Priesthood & Service become a Den of thieves & Robbers? Why should the place God Honoured by His presence become deserted by God & the head quarters of the Devil?
Why did many of Davids friends who had come & gone to the place of the Holy & sat at the table with become his bitterest enemies?
Why should His own Son lead a revolution to take the kingdom from his own father that he under God had made possible?
Why do 75% of the psalms reflect these conditions of conflict in the Kingdom of Israel?
Why was it that after he had conquered all the enemies outside, that the revolt began in Israel? Why should the true prophets who God had sealed, always find the many prophets against them as well as the King at their back? Elijah was 1--850 & the proportion must have been as great, in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezek: & Dan: etc.
Why did the false prophets always prophecy peace? & the True Prophets trouble? Why did Ahab attribute all the trouble of Israel to Elijah & not to the 850?
Why should Elijah have to subsist by Raven, by the brook Cherith; when 850 prophets cld sit at the Kings table?
Why shld Peter, James, Jude, & John have such a lonely neglected rejected time of exile in which they could only reach the Church by letter & only those in the church who still were looked on as rebels & heretics for having anything to do with them?
Why should those who had given most seal of God's power become the object of hatred, malice, guile, hypocrisy & evil speaking?
Why should wolves arise amongst the Ephesians & lead away people after them from Paul?
Why shld Isaiah say of Israel, their hands were red with blood? when they were so holy, zealous oblations, incense, New Moons, Sabbaths, calling assemblies, & solemn feasts, & meetings? When ye spread forth yr hands and make long prayers, I will not hear you, I am weary to hear them, yr hands are full of blood? Isaiah 1 is an awful exposure of the people of God, & for the 3 1/2 yrs Isaiah was a barefooted wanderer amongst them. Looked upon as a man stricken, smitten of God, & afflicted, or mad, & by & by they put him to death by sawing him asunder with a wooden saw, for the trouble he had caused them.
All these things have happened to reveal the secrets of mens hearts, & where ever God has found hearts where "Pride & Iniquity" have made it impossible for the spirit to work in, He has brot about conditions in His anointed which made it manifest. Many of all sorts are called by the gospel, FEW are Chosen. The calling comes by the anointing of God-- & all who hear can repeat & appropriate what they heard, but only those who have truly been made partakers of devine (sic) nature will be able to stand up to the test of His Mercy, being shewn towards His anointed in the day of his humiliation. The methods have been many & never twice alike, FOR HE HIDES HIS METHOD TO PERFECT THE TEST. Why shld all these things have been hid from our eyes till now? Why do so few believe them when they do hear them? Why should eyes & ears be closed to those Pearl truths that used to be open to what was more precious than Gold? Why should so many who can see the wrong in the outside, practise the same things while speaking the words of Jesus? Why should the greatest apostles in Hand feet & eyes-be in danger of Hell fire & the worm that dieth not? Why are the least of the apostles the test for the sheep, as the greatest are the test for the goats? Why shld those who are Godly have a mote in their eye so that the ungodly can become their judges & meet out judgment to them? Why shld those who get grapes & figs return thorns & thistles?
Why shld the Judgers have a log of wickedness in their eye & not know it, & even want to take the mote out of their brothers eye? It would take volumes to tell of all the envy, the malice, jealousy, revolt, rebellion, violence, & treachery that has been wrought not only toward me but 100's of other saints & workers who have become the victims of the wolves in sheeps clothing. & you have only to get up against them to prove it, their wool never was whiter, their teeth never was sharper. They have become expert at killing, stoning, robbing, stealing, shutting out & keeping out. Stirring others up to hatred in the name of the saving The Testimony, & yet unless you become a victim in some way, you would never suspect by their position or their words, unless you can see & taste their works. They sit & say alright, but their works are exactly what the Pharisees of Jesus time was. Paul, Peter, Jude, James, John all bear witness to the same thing, in the church of their day.
If I could have suspected they cld have become what I have proved them to be for 7 yrs, I would have done anything under the sun to make it manifest, & this is what God has done in a great variety of ways, & by many people revealed the secrets of the hearts of those who in their own eyes & those of their fellows are most perfect in works, walk & light but in heart have erred, then hardened not by sinners sin, but by pride of being better than others, & iniquity in taking advantage over others, when they thot they had occasion. They have made staying by the 99 the tests of their righteousness rather than going after the stray sheep. So the greatest will have the goat sympathy & the least will appeal to the Lamb- of - God- Mercy- of- the Sheep. Goats will always follow the crowd, & those in power will see that they are well cared for, while the sheep will stand by those who are made hungry, thirsty, halfclad strangers, after having dressed the vineyard for a life time. There will not be one wicked seed left in 7 yrs from the war is finished, & during that period we will see the everlasting Gospel set up in Jerusalem, & scattered over the earth by the Lamb of God Seed, who have been the rejected on the earth while the false reigned. You can see the devision (sic) in the church today Rev: 3. Those who sit rich, increased in goods & having need of nothing, & know not they are wretched, miserable, naked, poor, & blind, while those He loves are rebuked & chastened, cast out of the church to be received by Him who has spued the church out of His mouth because they were neither cold nor hot, had neither human nor devine (sic) love. He sups with us & shares our sorrows & rejection & we sup with Him in having some comfort & revelation of the things which He is doing, as judge of all the earth, in fulfilling Rev: which is the programme for these last days of judgment.

Wm. Irvine’s Letter To: Eddie Cooney
February 23, 1921

My dear Eddie:
I find that during these past 7 years, 100 workers and many hundred saints have been treated violently by those who call themselves the servants of God, and pride themselves in having 2 hands, 2 feet, 2 eyes, which are perfect, and who do violence to others, because their works, walk and sight have been faulty in their eyes.
Thus have you become the judgers of your brethren and put them out of fellowship, and taken all that belongs to them and left them hungry, thirsty and half clad strangers, sick and in prison, while you and Co. feast and carry on your activities in justifying your wickedness towards your brethren. You have seen the mote of sin in your brethren and want to take it out, while you are quite unconscious of the beam, or log of wickedness which blinds you to the fact that you have erred in heart, hardening it against those who need mercy, in place of showing you have the mercy heart of God, and whose chief business is to assure the sinner of the Mercy of God, rather than rob them and leave them half dead, scattered in the mountains.
When I warn you of judgment and hell for having done these things, you gainsay it, and proceed to prove that I am a false prophet, and will neither listen nor allow others to listen, read or write to those in sympathy with what I say and write, while you carry on your campaign of evil speaking, and working violence to all who dare --??-- your authority. Your methods are much too like the Ecclesiastical authority of the Clergy to pass muster with those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear what the Spirit saith.
Such wisdom is Earthly, sensual and devilish, and not the least like the wisdom which is from above, which is pure--not mixed--in its motives; peaceable, gentle, easily entreated, full of mercy and of good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy, and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by them that make peace, instead of making and spreading hatred and war. James writing those things must have had pretty much the same condition in the Church of his day, when the true Apostles were rejected for witnessing to the Judgments of God about to fall on the Jews--both Christian and Non-Christian--and which fell in the year 70 AD in fulfilling what the Apostles had witnessed to for 10 years before it came. The false Apostles and prophets of the Church were many, who gainsaid these things and led the people to scoff, 2nd Peter 3.
What came of the many Sons of God and false prophets who succeeded in making the people gainsay and scoff at the words of Noah, till only he and his family were found in the Ark. They succeeded in deceiving the people who put their confidence in them as men of renown, but they were found out when the Flood came, which they said would not come, and so perished with the people whom they had deceived. It’s an easy matter to deceive the people, but it’s a hard matter to face the consequences, and what had given great satisfaction in life, produced weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth when too late.
What came of Ham, who violated mercy to his father Noah, and judged him by his sin and forgot all the mercies he had received at his hands? The white Ham produced a black seed, to remind the world that all who violate mercy are accursed of God. Many theories have been offered by men regarding the black seed, skin of Ham, but God’s verdict is enough for all who have ears to hear what the Spirit saith. The quarter of the human race in Blackness of their skin, witness against you and all who have ever done as you have done to your brethren by the hundred. God never changes. Those who measure others by their sins and violate mercy, are accursed of God, no matter what they appeared to be in men’s sight. How they multiply to prove their rightness in their wickedness!
The whole record of the world’s history has been to justify wickedness, and thus far succeeded, but its end is at hand, when those who have been the victims of wickedness by the religious world are coming back to reign for 1000 years, when there will be neither Cain, Ham, nor Eddie Cooney seed found amongst them. What happened to Korah, Dathan and Abiram, and the 250 Princes (and Moses had much of such) and who were found famous in the congregation—men of renown? They became the accuser of Moses and Aaron. They succeeded in getting many to believe in them, and even to blame Moses for their death, but they and all who were with them perished in their gainsaying. Moses, the mercy hearted man, gave them the fruit of the power of God, which they were so glad to have, but they failed in getting a heart like Moses and so perished. Only two out of the two million Moses delivered escaped the consequences of their heart attitude towards God.
What happened to those of the Ham seed who put out Samson’s eyes and made sport of him in prison, and in their feastings? Did they escape? Did God justify the sinner Samson, or those who were his accusers and tormentors?
What happened to the many who owed their place in the Kingdom, and preeminence in Israel to David, and who afterwards became the sword which never departed from the house of David, because of his sin? Was God for David and against all those who sought to take the Kingdom from David. Absolom’s tomb here in the Valley of Jehosophat is full of stones today, to remind us of the Judgment of God on all who do what you have tried to do to me. The Jews spit when they pass by. Absolom was no sinner, but he was wicked as you are, though fair to look upon, so much so that even David wished he might have died for him, showing the difference in heart between David the mercy hearted man, and wicked son who owed all that he had to his father.
What happened to all the zealous, holy, prayerful false prophets of Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel’s time, who gainsaid what the true prophets, in rejection, said would happen to Israel? They promised them peace until they stirred up the people and killed Isaiah, who said they would be carried away captive for 70 years. Did their gainsaying hinder the captivity? What happened to the multitudes who had tasted the fruit of the mercy heart of Jesus, but who failed to get the root and the planting of the father? When the Mercy test was applied to them by Jesus, in His rejection, they were found amongst the false prophets and their victims. THEY COULD NOT SHOW MERCY BECAUSE THEY HAD NOT OBTAINED MERCY.
Just as in Paul’s, Peter’s, James’s, and John’s day, those who had professed and had not been regenerated because of pride and iniquity working in their hearts, became the rejecters of those who were made the test of their mercy. God CALLED (by me) many to be partakers of the Divine Nature, FEW are being chosen when tested by the mercy test. They took all the fruit of my mercy heart, but they missed getting the root, and so are found wanting. God always tests His professed people in the same way.
The stone of stumbling and rock of offense, and is the one which the builders reject, is the one which becomes the head of the corner, by which the next course in the building is to be lined up and put in place by. Those who fall on this rejected stone will be broken or made to suffer, but on whomsoever it falls, it will grind him to powder. This was true of Noah, Moses, Samson, David, Isaiah, and the prophets; Jesus and the Apostles, up until you and I. The men who would fail in mercy and become the wicked accusers of the hundreds in The Testimony, whom they have treated violently and put out, would have rejected all those whom we now know to have been true servants of God, because of the judgments which came on their enemies, after they were dead.
Matthew 13 is very good—outlining The Testimony. I sowed the word of the Kingdom: three parts failed to receive the root, one part got the root; so many are the rejecters of their brethren, and 25% (the few) are worthy of the rejection and being outside the Camp. I sowed good seed; the enemy sowed tares, those who were perfect outwardly but had failed to get the mercy heart of God. Both grew together till these harvest days when the separation takes place. The rejecters are gathered together to burn, and the wheat is being gathered as a seed for the next sowing.
My mustard seed became the great tree with branches, wide spreading. The black, evil fowl brood came and made their nest in the branches of it, and now it’s a nest tree of squawking activities, whose increase only adds to the filth which hides the tree that was once living, and which attracted them to it for what they could get, in place, power, position and comfort. The tree is to be cut down, and a shoot from the old root made to bud more glorious than the other, in that it will be to all nations, in the fullness of the Everlasting Gospel.
The Kingdom is like leaven which the harlot hearted woman hid in three measures of meal till the whole was leavened. Leaven stands for human influence which the harlot hearted have in getting power over the whole Testimony or Church as we see at the end of the Prophets’ and Apostles’ lives. The mustard tree shows the living power of God. The Leaven shows the death working power of the false harlot hearted hireling hypocrites of the Church.
I found gold in my field, and worked it after buying it. I sold
all a second time and bought the Pearl of great price—a rejected, mercy
hearted, anointed man such as we see the true prophets all were at the
end. The dragnet caught many of all sorts, now it’s drawn to the
shore and we see the rejecters cast away of God, while the good are being
gathered into vessels for the Master’s use. These things were all
hid from our eyes until they were fulfilled in our lives. Paul and
Co. could not see these things until they could see them from the place
of rejection—at the end of their life’s work.
PAUL SOLD ALL TO GET THE GOLD OF THE KINGDOM. HE LOST ALL IN
BECOMING A PEARL OF GREAT PRICE, TO BE COUNTED WORTHY TO RISE AND REIGN
IN REVELATION 21.
I COUNT MYSELF HAPPY TO HAVE SOWN MORE OF THE SEED OF THE KINGDOM THAN ANY MAN IN OR OUT OF THE TESTIMONY. I count myself happy to have the devil produce so many imitations around 25% of the true seed, and my being tolerant enough to let the tares grow up amongst the wheat, till the harvest these 7 years. I count myself happy in making it possible for so many foul birds to make their nest in the tree which they never produced. I count myself happy in finding a few hundred who have suffered for being true to my name, and being rejected and cast out for having fellowship with me in any sense, whether as sinners, heretics, blasphemers, or movers of sedition.
No man can mention my name lovingly in The Testimony and not suffer for it; try it and see for yourself. Happy will you be if you find yourself despised and rejected, rebuked and chastened, outside the Camp for doing it. If you want to take the hatred of the haters, mention my name and stand for mercy of God to me and others like me, and see what you get, either in a church meeting or in a convention. All who have tried it have proved it, and happy are they no matter what the cost to them, for they will find the Pearl of great price, and be one of the Bride (chosen) and come back to reign on the earth. You will find the Lord at your heart’s door knocking to come in and share your sorrow, ready to impart to you His revelation for these days; a program which will interpret all that is going on in The Testimony and in your own heart, as well as the world.
You will have an open Heaven, an open Book and an open Providence, revealing His working as the King on the Throne, judging the world, the Church, and perfecting His own in making them merciful, as He is merciful. Now cheer up, I don’t care whether you are good or bad, if you are willing to put on the white robe of mercy to all men, you are welcome to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, but if you think to sit down at the feast in your self-righteousness and wickedness, you will find the King command you to be bound and cast out, where the greatest, and the goats, dogs, swine, and wolves in sheep’s clothing are—in outer darkness, blind to all that’s going on in the world; to be found weeping, wailing and gnashing your teeth in the day when His wrath is let loose on the wicked, good and bad, who dwell on the face of the whole Earth.

My Dear Willie:
Percy sent me on a copy of his to you in answer to yours to him, which is both manly and Christian in its spirit.
You don't need to worry about your sins being exposed, but the wickedness of touching others for their sins is a deadly position to be in. If all the people in The Testimony had their sins exposed they could not stand. But Jesus died for sins and sinners. The Devil's work is when he gets people to forget their own sins and begin to accuse others. This is falling into the snare of the Devil, which is possible for all men, but to willingly stay there and attempt to justify, means Eternal death. The sins of others is only the occasion for the perfecting us in forgiving others, as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us.
The Testimony was not produced by Sin, but in spite of Sin; but The Testimony has been destroyed by wickedness, as all testimonies that God raised up have been in the past. For anybody to teach you to hate, to be unforgiving and an accuser of your Brother --if he were 100 times worse--is to open the Gates of Hell and plunge into it headlong. God is always for the Sinner and always against the wicked accuser, whether that person is good or bad.
Those who outwardly appear righteous unto men an inwardly full of iniquity and hypocrisy such as The Testimony has proved itself for the past 7 years, is only the natural end, as we see in Jesus and Paul and Peter and all the other Prophets and Apostles who were of God; they were rejected by the people they labored for.
Many were called to be partakers of the Divine Nature. Few are being chosen now, but all who violate mercy and do violence to others by evil speaking and accusation, no matter how true it may be, are rejected of God - in spite of outwardly appearing righteous unto men. God looks on the heart and if there is no mercy shown, then we know it's because it's never been possible for God to work in their hearts because of pride and iniquity, as you see happened to the Devil and his angels, so it happened to all the evil seed.
I knew where you were the day I saw you at Wellshot. The Wickedness and hypocrisy of these past 7 years surpasses anything we read of in the Scriptures; proves that the world is more wicked today than ever before, and the last called Church is always the worst, as we can see in the Prophet's and Apostle's lives; for it was always those who professed and missed being born of God who became the persecutors of the true anointed of God. I know about these things more than all of you put together, and have more heart for all of you, even though you manifested hatred for me, and have done as much to help you in the past and present, as you have done to hurt me. If somebody had told you, better to cut off your right hand, right foot or pluck out your right eye rather than scandalize or offend, accuse or reject the Least of these who believe in Him, they would have been your friend, but in place of that they came to encourage you to pride yourself in your works and walk and sight, which was more perfect than others; and so you are found like a man with a millstone around your neck--cast into the sea. Better to enter into life maimed than having two hands, two feet and two eyes to be cast into Hell fires where the worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched; that's why I am sure that every tongue, hand or back that turned against me for my sin these past 7 years must repent and find mercy - or perish to be tormented by the memory of their evil words and works, for I have known from the beginning that not one would or could escape. Their judgment is in the NOT KNOWING THAT, yet it's the pith of the whole Book, all the Teaching of Jesus. You have been seeing the tares of human imitations gathered together, doing wickedness to others in His name and justifying it, while those who had the Mercy Heart of God have been gathered out and rejected so that they might be made white, tried and perfected by the rebuking and chastening of their wicked brethren.
There were over 100 workers rejected and as many hundred saints these
past 7 years, and no two alike, and yet the treatment has been the same
unmerciful judging of their brethren, casting and shutting them out of
fellowship. For anyone to have my name in honor, or in grateful memory,
or to plead my cause, means to be cast out; and nothing pleases them better
than when someone can speak more evil of the man to whom they owe all they
have.
Only the few who refuse to measure Jesus, Paul, Peter or
John, Samson or David, or any of God's Anointed by their sins, or by the
evil report about them, were saved in any age. Moses made 250 men
Princes in Israel, who became famous in the congregation of men of renown,
such as many of those whom I made Princes in the Israel of today; they
set themselves against Moses, making a strong case against him, leading
many people with them - what was their end? And the end of Diotrephes
and those who forbid the Saints to read Paul's letters? Just exactly
the same as those whom you choose to look upon as God's Servants today.
Their righteousness today before men and their princely position and fame
in the congregation and the renown they have made for themselves, will
not stand up against their violation of Mercy to the man God chose to make
them and place them where they are today.
Many whom David had exalted into place in the Kingdom of Israel that he had made possible, became his bitterest enemies and persecutors - but they all perished. Many Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, whom Paul had made, became his bitterest enemies and persecutors, ending in his death, but they also perished, and those of the church who were with them against Paul. It was not the man whom they accused who was in danger, but the accusers of their Anointed Brother. The Man whom God uses to build the House is always the one the builders reject. This is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Those who fall on him are broken and made to suffer, but they become the foundation for the next House as you see those who fell on Jesus and suffered in the day of His rejection became the Apostles for the Church to be built, while those on whom the guilt of His rejection rested, were ground to powder. The Man that was the foundation always became the Stone of Stumbling and Rock of offense to make manifest who have been made partakers of the Lamb of God Nature, and those who have become partakers of the Devil's nature.
If we get the Fruit of the Gospel through a mercy hearted man anointed of God and miss the root (a mercy heart) we are only tares. Goats, Dogs, Hogs and Wolves in Sheep's clothing, who, though outwardly righteous before men, are inwardly full of iniquity and hypocrisy and who are made manifest by the casting down and out of the Man of God for his sins, blasphemy, heresy and sedition. If you read Matt. 7 you will read of the two seeds who develop in the Jesus way. The Judgers and the Judged; those who mete out judgment and those who receive. Those who have a mote of sin in their eye and know it, and those who have a beam (or log) of wickedness in their own eye and don't know it. The true seed of God always have a mote big enough for the wicked to see and of which they are well aware, while the wicked can never see their own wickedness; for they judge by the SIN (and not MERCY) TEST.
They have a tree, but it brings forth thorns and briars, which hurts others; they know all about prophesying in His Name and casting out Devils and doing many wonderful works, but they don't know that iniquity is controlling them until the Lord tells them when it is too late. The pride and iniquity of their own hearts blinded them to the fact that God could not work in them and they were only imitators in words and works. They built a nice house but when the storm came it fell down; for it was not built on the Rock of God revealing Christ in their hearts and anointing them, but on sand and imitating those who were on the rock.
I counsel you to stop and think--going on in your iniquity and hypocrisy with the many can only end one way, as it had ended for the many in every age; while the Judged and Rejected and Cast-outs have been the accepted of God. I would be glad to hear that you were rejected and cast outside the Camp, one of the Least, robbed of all your friends and made hungry, thirsty, half-clad, a stranger, sick and in prison by the works of your wicked brethren who claim to be the greatest today and who are followed by the Goats, who follow those who outwardly seem to have the preeminence. Just as Sheep will cling to those through whom they heard the Shepherd, and cleave to them no matter how much evil may be spoken against them. There will not be one Sheep or Shepherd that will not be rejected by The Testimony and not one of them will perish. Just as the Judgers and Rejectors with the Goats, Dogs, Hogs and Wolves in Sheep's clothing will be gathered together for destruction.
The evil birds are in possession of the tree which grew from my little mustard seed, and are making their nests in the various branches, multiplying their evil breed and covering the tree with their filth till you can hardly see it, but the tree that brings not forth good fruit for others is to be hewn down and cast into the fire. I have proved what kind of fruit they bring forth these (past) 7 years, and I have no doubt about the end.
Your bigness and silence and blindness are all evidence of your being possessed of the same spirit we see in every life opposed to His Mercy in the Old and New Testament.

P.S. For years I have not seen an honest, frank and manly letter from those who call themselves the Servants and Saints of God, and it is worthwhile to be a Cast-out, one outside the Camp, to see all the mean, heartless, selfishness of those who call themselves Servants. Paul had the same experience at the hands of the false apostles and false prophets who masqueraded in the church while Paul Languished in jail. God is the Justifier of the sinner and the one who makes manifest the wicked who always take possession of all that God, by His Anointed, ever produced. You and Co. stole all God and His Anointed produced, but you did not steal the root nor the power which made my mustard seed. The tree has been the nesting place for so many blackbirds. Your letter revealed the Wisdom which is Earthly, sensual and devilish, rather than that which is from above. Pure, peaceable, Gentle, easy to be entreated, full of Mercy and good fruits and the fruit of Righteousness is sown in them who make peace rather than justify the wickedness and violence.

May 9, 1921
My dear Willie and Co:
I think it might be good to try and read Rev. 12, though we have tried to do so before – not that there’s any chance of convincing those who are the accusing seed – but that it may be some comfort to those who are the accused and whose only weapon of defence is in the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their Testimony. It’s good to recognize that the things of God are hid by God from the wise and prudent and revealed unto the least or babes. This is the first penalty for the Devil and all his seed.
Rev. 12 – There appeared – suggests some new thing revealed. It has been hid or not manifested till now in the little or short period of the End.
A Great Sign – Something that all people can see or take note of and wonder at.
In Heaven – (on Earth) though it’s the revealing of the secret hid from the foundation of the world. It’s the explaining of Cain and Abel and all the conflict between the two seeds who name His name.
A Woman – The Bride of Christ (those who are one with Him and show it by their mercy works). The Bride has ever been known by being the Justifier of the Sinner or the interpreter of the value of the Blood shed for sins. But she also has been the accuser of the wicked and so is rejected and numbered with Sinners, as heretic, blasphemer and mover of sedition. Eve was to be the Mother of all living when she was cast out of the Garden and the Bride of Christ the chosen at the end of the calling days had always been the Mother of all who had life in their day. The Harlot stands in opposition to the Bride. Those who seek the fellowship – gifts, graces and honors – but who have not the Bride Heart, nor fellowship inward, nor travail and suffering. The Harlot is eternally the enemy of the Bride and the Bride the same of the Harlot. Both are fruitful. The one brings forth the children who sacrifice for the sinner and the other the seed who sacrifice the sinner. The Harlot holds her place by ability to appear attractive. The Bride; by love, sacrifice, service and suffering. The Harlot lives by gifts from the world. The Bride by Gifts from the Bridegroom.
Clothed with the Sun – I am the light of the world – suggests what sort of light it will be. The Light of Life is always the expression of love and mercy for the sinner. The Light of Darkness is always founded on Justice and honor for the righteous. God’s best is always given for the sinner. The Devil’s best is always given for the righteous.
Clothing – Expresses what is in her heart and so we show by our outward words and works what we are inside.
Clothed – suggests that Christ Jesus, the light of the world is shining out through our words and works. The Law and the Gospel have always had two interpretations – the one of mercy of God to men, working life. The other, Justice of God to man, working death.
The Moon Under Her Feet – Only those who have the Light of Life can see the place the moon has. The Moon can only reflect the light which the earth has had from the Sun. The moon simply means all the traditional reflected light. The called who are not born of God are always the foundation for all that has been the moon. The vessel and the oil produce the light. Those who are the borrowers are the moon; only those who have the light of life can know the difference, which has been very much kept secret, only revealed by God making manifest through outward conditions, who are the Lights and who are the darkness. The darkness has always tried to quench the lights. The Sun is to rule the Day, as the moon is to rule the children of night. Night sets the whole devouring seed to work, just as day is the opportunity for all men to work the works of God as revealed in Jesus. The night cometh when no man can work, and this describes pretty much where we are now, and coming on to the midnight hour. (The thieves and murderers are busy at work, when the cry goes forth, Behold the Bridegroom Cometh. It will be like the Sun of Righteousness suddenly shining out at Midnight to reveal all the works that are wrought in darkness).
On Her Head 12 Stars – Stars shine by the light they have in themselves, which is the gift of God. A true Star is to others what the Sun is to the Moon. I have no doubt but this speaks about what were God-given gifts for service of others and recognized by the Bride. The Bride – the called, chosen and sent, have all these marks. They are clothed with the Light He gives each one. They don’t regard borrowed light and they recognize the God-given help they get from those whom God has given as lights in the heavens. They walk in the Light as He is in the Light. Have no use for those who are only human imitators and honor those God has given them as helps.
She being with Child – Recognition of God working in them to bring forth some thing or person they have not seen. But after the same nature and pattern and for the same purpose He came.
Cried – Travailing in Birth and Pained to be Delivered – suffering in bringing forth what is to accomplish His purpose on the earth. Mary and Elizabeth no doubt can give us hints about the Birth from Heaven and the Birth from the earthly Bride. Both in the purpose and power of God – for the redemption of the world and the setting up of the Kingdom and the preaching of the Everlasting Gospel to the nations and uttermost ends of the earth. God always begins by creating a man and giving him a Bride and such is the work again. We don’t come from monkey Imitators – all the purifying, making white and trying of His own has only been that He might bring forth the Manchild who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron or Judgment and wrath and be caught up unto God in Heaven in the presence of their enemies as proof that he was produced by God through the Bride for a purpose and that the laying the foundation of the Kingdom that is to destroy all others, and last forever.
Verse 3 – There appeared another wonder in Heaven on earth. A Great Red Dragon – Rev. 6:4 – Big flesh, with power to take peace from the earth and power to kill – deceive (as the Serpent) and to oppose and persecute all who are of God, (the work of Satan). Rev. 12:9 shows what the Red Dragon is and coupled with Verse 4 we get the meaning of Red.
Having 7 Heads – all the authority of Superiority of condition, position and privilege because of the recognition of men. Crowns on his head – authority and power from man to do his work. It’s all assumed and given by man.
Horns – shows the inward and outward development which makes it possible to do violence in name of God.
His Tail – Above is the head, controlling and executing. The tail is the followers of such. Those who endorse the work of the Devil in name of God. The power of Numbers to cause men to think they must be right. Even those who seem to have light from God are carried away by it, and cast down to the earth. Many who once seemed to be Spiritual are now earthly and carnal and care more for the world’s business and money making. This is one of the complaints the workers make of the Saints, who show little interest in the Gospel. This is George Beattie’s* Testimony to the Elder who wrote me from New Zealand regarding America last week, and also what Eddie Cooney told me concerning the best of the Saints in Ireland.
The Dragon – Stood before the Woman, ready to be delivered, to devour her child as soon as it was born. This contrast shows the terrible condition the accusing, killing, deceiving, gainsaying, despising, persecuting Leaders and Judgers are found in. Lost to all human feeling, as expressed in the attitude towards the suffering Woman. Dead to all the future developments of the Kingdom. Blind to all the great and glorious possibilities of the Manchild. Filled with all the ferocity we see in the enemies of the cross on which He died. This contrast is very instructive as showing the conflict and attitude towards the Bride and the desire and purpose towards the Manchild.
Verse 5 – She brought forth the Manchild – to rule all nations with a Rod of Iron, and her child (was) caught up unto God and to His Throne. What majestic, victorious language – showing how little their 7 heads and 10 horns and all the recognized authority of man could do to hinder God’s purpose being fulfilled – though the weakness and helplessness of the Bride and the Child. Contrast the mother and child in the stable and manger with all the Religious glory in Jerusalem. Contrast the humility of the three men from the East, the shepherds, and the blindness of the whole civil and religious world when He was born. If we wanted to be sarcastic, we might mention the contrast of our wise friends from the East in these days and all their gifts. If we were all crazy – it’s worth it all if only we can see the contrast and conflict now going on. In 3 ½ years what wonders were wrought in Jesus’ time. He had tapped their wrath and it overflowed; but He also had risen from the dead and ascended to Heaven and the Holy Ghost had come on the Apostles; and the Gospel went to the whole earth that then was. How much more glorious will be the end of the day from the beginning of the day of Jesus Christ. You notice how Mary pondered all the things revealed concerning the child in her heart – a wise method. How few could understand, even when the child was born; and what reappeared as the Cloak of Mary and Joseph to cover their fornication. God is the Master of Camouflage to hide these things from the wise and prudent and to reveal them to those who are the children of the Kingdom.
Verse 6 – And the Woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a place prepared of God – that they – who are they? Will they not be the angels whom He sends forth to gather out of His Kingdom all that offend? Michael and his angels fought against the Dragon and his angels. It’s common to protect women and children in a conflict and so we may expect that He will protect the Bride and feed her there 3 ½ years. An expectant mother prepares many things that others can’t see the need of, and if all your preparation is never needed or used you won’t be sorry. But I would not suggest that the Bridegroom and Michael and his angels would not be interested in a can of beans prepared by the suffering Bride. It helps to give comfort to a suffering expectant Bride and most people who understand would rather encourage than discourage. I suspect the Bride would not give that Great Red Dragon any more occasion than she could help. She would keep her secrets as far as she could – while it could not be altogether hid. The threats of the Red Dragon would be very ominous before Michael and his angels began to take a hand. I suspect the Dragon would find plenty to do so that he would almost forget the Bride for the time being.
Verse 8 – And Prevailed not, neither was place found any more in Heaven. They had fallen away and been made manifest. This is the falling away period of 2 Thess. 2:3. Defeated in the Kingdom and cast out into the earth. I am inclined to think death will work havoc on all who are wicked in the Kingdom. They will be taken away and the others left. And the conflict will become a world conflict; while the children of the Kingdom will shine forth in the Kingdom of their Father, fulfilling Vs. 10. A Loud Voice in Heaven on earth will be heard saying – Now is come Salvation, Strength, and the Kingdom of our God and the Power of His Anointed – FOR – the accuser of our Brethren has been or is cast down – which accused them before our God day and night. This shows their power to hinder today and make us ineffective.
Verse 11 – The overcomer of the wicked one – were those who had clung to the Blood of the Lamb and still kept their mouth open, in spite of all the accusers, and their willingness to suffer or lose their Lives now in the sense of seeing nothing done and all gone and destroyed and robbed.
Verse 12 – Therefore rejoice ye Heavens and ye that dwell in them. WOE to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea. The humans who will suffer and the Political Sea, which has produced the 4 Beasts of Dan. 7, for the Devil has come down to express his wrath in Human affairs as the Diabolus or Abbadon of Rev. 9:11 – to destroy the whole earth because he knoweth that he soon will be in the pit.
Verse 13 – When the Dragon saw that his power in the name of God was gone, then he persecuted the Bride which had brought forth his fall. He persecuted the Woman.
Verse 14 – But the wings of a great eagle were given to fly into the wilderness into her place where she is nourished for 3 ½ years from the face of the serpent. This is the second 3½ years and the second flight – where she is nourished. This is when the Antichrist or Jewish persecution of Rev. 13:11 to end will come. At the end of the first 3 ½ years, Vs. 7, Ch. 13, we see the dragon making war against the Saints. In the second 3½ years he tries as the false Christ, the Jewish Messiah, to compel the sword, etc., to respect Jewish customs, etc.
Verse 15 – Suggests a great campaign for Judaism (?) till the earth opening her mouth, the earthquake of Rev. 16:18 will be God’s answer to all the campaign. This will end the Antichrist campaign and end the battle of Armageddon, where the nations had come to fight against the Jewish attempt to compel recognition of their claims by the sword (this is the earth helping the Woman) while the destruction of Jerusalem by earthquake with all the cities of the nations, will end the whole. But it will be a conflict to the very end till they are cast into the pit and then He comes to gather His own. The Bride is clearly the overcomers of the wicked one in the church of the age. The Manchild is the man Anointed as one of the witnesses and comes out of the Bride who are the accused of the church who have no righteousness save that of the Blood of the Lamb and The Testimony God gives them out of their mouth and their willingness to lose their lives rather than save them. There are 100’s of women who claim to be the Woman and 100’s of men who claim to be the Manchild in the world today, but these are not the marks of either the Bride, or Manchild. Though the Bride and Manchild may know more than any others and their hope is not in saying it, but in seeking to have the marks which Rev. 11 and 12 gives. God will make no mistakes, and the anointing will settle the whole controversy. One thing we know that the Bride and Manchild will not be found with self-righteousness in their mouth. But rather the comfort and Testimony of God and willingness to lose all that men are so fond of having by violence and accusation. The Bride will have no comfort or fellowship in the wicked church, but will be rebuked and chastened and outside with the Bridegroom comforting and sharing the Revelation and bearing His Testimony to the world. We can rejoice at the Dragon’s attempts and threats of violence, for they are an indication that he knows both the Bride and where the Manchild is who will break his power and Rule the nations with the word of wrath.
We can Rest when people trouble us as Paul says in 2 Thess. 1:7-12 – knowing that there will be no failure either towards His own or His enemies. When grace and manifestation has ended, then Glory and wrath will speak.

May 23, 1921
My dear Willie and Rose:
Your letters came yesterday and were very comforting. It’s only when you see God working out his own purpose of making manifest the secret of men’s hearts, that we are cheered by all the things that happen. If you have nothing but what I say, then the best way is to have it burned in as you have. It’s gold tried in the fire the Lord wants us to have, and white raiment same as He had, which always covers the sinner and accused the accuser of the sinner. Eye salve that we may see what we did not see before, even though they had been in the church 30 years, as were those John wrote to in Revelation. You can see the 7 churches all battling for what they had received and not knowing where they then were. Wickedness had slowly stolen into power, and the few who had tested the love of God through Paul had forgotten, and became just what the synagogues of the Jews were. Fallen back on the old form of Godliness without the power.
When the love of God died out and hatred of the sinner and anointed takes it’s place, we can be quite sure where they are. The light Jesus had made Him the never failing friend of the sinner, and as unfailingly the enemy of their accusers. Hence, those who violate these conditions can never have the light of life, and so can’t see. As Daniel said, “The wicked shall not see;” while the mercy seed will see more as they are tested and tried on the three lines of iniquity – self-seeking, mercy and patience. The little breeze has been good, and only perfects the endurance which is to be the mark of those who shall be saved from wrath through Him in the day of wrath. Those whom I have noticed to be playing the wicked game for past years have been clearly revealed, and if they don’t take the warning they have had, and cease from it, I’m, afraid it’s want of root that’s the cause, and God will make sure that they will be found where they belong. Wickedness can cover up for a long time, and cause much suffering to others who want to be Godly; but they will become either false prophets deceived and deceiving others in name of Christ or in the name of being anointed; they will be haters, afflicters and killers of those who are the seed of God.
Many shall be offended and shall betray and hate one another. Matt. 24:1-14. Self-seeking shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Get these verses clear before your mind, and see how the outward signs in the world and the signs amongst brethren work so closely together. He that shall endure these things and overcome the wicked one shall be saved.
These verses cover all we see in Rev. 2 and 3. John shows there were false apostles whom even the church of Ephesus rejected, though their heart love was dead and they had no use for those who believed what Nicolus, self-made and man-chosen, was to take the place of Paul in the church. The Jews of Smyrna church had become like the synagogue of Satan-judgers, accusers and rejecters. In Pergamos, where Satan dwelleth, and where Antipas was slain; where Satan’s seat is; Antipas who was slain among you; you can see how those who were true would suffer in such atmosphere while the wicked in the church would be quite able to adapt themselves to the atmosphere.
In opposition to Antipas you have Balaam prophets, who could use the truth of God to mix the seed of God with the wicked seed, which was the wisdom of Balaam given to Balac who would not curse God’s people or speak against them, but who for selfish ends and to get power and place, sought to get people reconciled to accepting what pleased the man-made, man-placed leader, and to have fellowship with what is produced in a wicked heart in spite of all the three measures of meal of truth God has given them through others. Wheat is what God has put in us by His Spirit. Meal is what we have got from others. Wheat can produce meal – meal can never produce wheat. Leaven can’t work in wheat because of the skin, but finds it easy to work amongst meal which has been given. This shows the need of getting people to let God work in them. To say that you only have what I gave you is to weigh your corn in their own bushel, while to have God reveal the same things to you that He has to me is wheat. I have no joy in people recognizing what I say if they don’t find the same God and the same Book and signs produce the same results. You have seen with your eyes how meal can be leavened and become wickedness. I have no greater joy than to see God makes it possible for people to see as I see, just as I have no joy in seeing people receive it because I said so, and I know in my heart in both cases, even though 9000 miles away. “He that hath ears to hear what the Spirit saith, “ is very different from he that hath ears to hear what I say or any other will say, and not know the Spirit in them or any others. Some of my own relatives believe what I say today, though they have no ear to hear God, but they have proved that I am no trifler and so have more or less fear, and their natural love would not speak against me, even though they can’t understand why I should do these things. But where iniquity and hypocrisy are, they will even turn the meal, what I have given them, into doing the Devil’s work. What would they have had today if I had not given them what they now fight against; they would not even have anything to say.
This is true both of the Old T. and the New, Testimony as you call it. I had long noticed that many who had the biggest bag of meal gathered from my lips had no wheat developed in themselves, and so it could all be leavened and used against the very source from which all other supplies came. They cherish the Meal, and use it over and over, and people don’t know the difference, but it don’t increase. They put great store on what they have, without the root to produce wheat from. Tare imitators have nothing but the measure they have received from man in whom God can produce. Many years I was fed on the platform my own meal, sometimes sweet, sometimes sour, and by and by wicked leaven. The real conflict in The Testimony today is between the old meal I gave them and the new wheat for the present day. This is the reason they are so anxious my words or letters should not reach people. But I have enough evidence in all parts of The Testimony to prove that those who have ears to hear what the Spirit saith, which is the mark, of the wheat, as compared to what the Spirit has said. The Pharisees knew what the Spirit had said by Moses and now by Jesus, but they did not know the Spirit when He was speaking to them, neither in Moses’ day, Jesus’ day, nor our day. The Spirit was speaking by John and Paul from jail, but they had no ears to hear, and measured it by what the Spirit had spoken by Paul and John years ago. When Gospel or Testimony is a matter of a sack of meal collected and preserved and made into Bread palatable and useful so that men don’t need to live by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God, it’s the same old leavened Bread, taking the place of the unleavened bread, which is new fresh Bread from Heaven.
Conventions were very tiresome things when there was no unleavened bread. Some proof that God was meeting our ever changing, ever present need. This was the reason I lived and labored so hard to supply what others seemed not to have, and was the reason why so many were afraid to serve up their old meal in my presence. By letter and word I have had many of my words served up to me these past years as proof that I have changed, but there are some who value my words today after trying to feed on the old Leavened Bread which has long ago become stale.
The supply for the world is not the meal in the sack, but that which is growing in the ear. To rely on crop of Tares and what we have in the Meal Bag will soon end in death as we are soon going to see in the natural, as it has been in the Spiritual. How little value is all that men have in store if the new fresh supply of God cease. Many try to Spiritualize the “No rain from Heaven during their prophecy.” Rev. 11:6 the fulfillment of this naturally is only to convince them by physical signs of the Spiritual conditions. God did this in the Old Testament times, after the Spiritual drought that made it impossible for God to speak to them. He gave them to suffer in their land and stomach that they might recognize and return to the source of every good and perfect gift. We are now having the Spiritual famine, but the anointing of the 2 witnesses will also give them a natural famine, which only those who receive their message and share in the anointing will be able to survive. You notice that those who held the Doctrine of Balaam and eat things offered to Idols, etc., also have the Doctrine of the Nicolaitans. Repent or I will come and fight against them with the sword of my mouth. The Spirit of God speaking by a man’s mouth has always been the sword God has used against all the established traditional religious systems, first or last, where the Baal prophets, (Balaam rulers and judges, Idol guides and examples) headed up in their chosen Nicolus. It’s just Apostolic succession such as we see in Rome and all other modifications of the same, versus the anointed of God speaking the truth of God.
Gospel is God Speaking. Wheat is God producing in us the Christ nature. Testimony is our witnessing to what God is doing, rather than what He has done. The proof of God having spoken is that He continues to speak and proof that He began is that He continues, and the end must ever be after the pattern of Jesus, and Paul, and Peter, and John. Those who heard God speaking by Paul, and found God working in them was that they found the same conditions when they were in jail and to the end. You can see Paul using the very same Truth to show who were true and who were reprobate in 2 Cor. 13. Vs. 5, “Examine, prove, know ye not?” Vs. 6, “I trust ye shall know that we are not reprobate.” This was written in the year that Paul went to prison, 6 years after he had been in Corinth. Acts 18.
What condition was the church that suffered Jezebel, the Prophetess, (Rev. 2:23) is good. “I am He that searcheth the reins and hearts,” – the motives and love.
He that overcometh the wicked one, (who has overcome the church) is a good way to read these words. He that hath ears to hear what the Spirit saith or sayeth, and this voice was coming from the very source they had so long rejected and only a few had any ear to hear.
Now is you had only what I can give you by letter, I would despair of you and you would be sending me back some of your leavened meal or bread. But I know that the God that is working in the whole world preparing it for wrath, is also working in you and preparing you to endure, when others will be gathered out of His Kingdom as offenders so that those who are righteous as He is righteous shall shine forth in the Kingdom of their Father, and our hearts will be just as glad that we were able to endure as will others be sad who have tested our endurance.

I am satisfied that the Testimony was the result of my anointing without any help from others, and in spite of all my so called helpers. For it was a big job to keep them from devouring one another from the beginning. I don’t say this out of vanity or vain glory or in order to despise any who had truly the nature and anointing of God, but I say if I had not been, I don’t see anybody who could or would have done as I did.

My dear Willie, Rose and Co:
Yours of 29th. May was good news. You could not have had such a clear Testimony to what you stand for, if you had tried for 20 years to get it into the papers. There is a clear ring about the whole matter that will be mighty when the time comes, and will operate on many who have read it. Often I have been made to wonder at the close working of Providence in the Life of Jesus in all He did and said, and this we look for. If you got no more value out of your storing than this, it would suffice. When we think of all the time and money and effort we used to put into a mission, and we were scarcely known in the town, far less in a district like what these papers will reach and when every body is more or less on the Qui view owing to happenings of all kinds in nature and providence of all kinds. We can only thank God and look forward to bigger and better things.
It will have given you confidence and guidance regarding the Gov. and also the need for care in burying. The proving of your friends has also been a very hopeful sign in His favour, for I often felt it's weakening power on those who sought to have a little faith. Doubtful friends become a great help to us when we find them become enemies. Ritzman's fire convinced me in the same way, and helped to clear the air by revealing who were and who were not in it. The fearful and unbelieving are more deadly than those who bear all the marks of being enemies of God in a more definite sense as in Rev.XXI: vs.8. The fact that your names with held adds double weight to it all. I put great stress on the Imperial conference being held in London during June - which will settle the question regarding the place India is to have in the Empire.
The Egyptians leave on 1st. July for England to negotiate their independence. The Allies are trying to settle the Turk and Greek question without more fighting, this will finish peace and safety. They are not more anxious for it than I am. India, Bolshi, Turk and Arab are all preparing for what I expect is coming soon on the great river Euphrates, the last two verses of Rev.IX; shows it will be the whole of India, as it speaks about worshippers of devils, and Idols of gold - silver - brass - wood and stone. While the last verse gives us the Mohamedan marks. So it looks like the East versus the West anf the troubles in the West and Ireland are pretty much the same as the conditions which tempted the Kaiser.
I can understand why the 4th of Aug. will be a very likely and suitable time. No doubt we will get a good taste of it here as the Arabs are very much stirred up against the Jews, both Xtian and Moslems. The Gandi article was good and can become a war like movement in one day. The peaceful non-cooperation methods are by far the most effective in undermining the Governments power, and preparing the people for what ever may be ripe. England could do very little if India rose, for the whole working class would declare a general strike, and this would be the opportunity the Bolshivicks want for a revolutionary movement which would complete affairs. There can be no doubt that the brains that produced the European war are spread over the world to produce the world war, and there has been great activity during the past 3 years since the Armistice when the Spirit of revenge is working secretly under the guise of seeking peace and safety, the declared weakness of England, France and Italy and all who were with them, only incites the others, and there is much fear in many quarters being evidenced in many ways.
The scattered people of the East and the Bolshi and other movements have made the fire ready and the spark is all that's needed. So whether it be East or West or color vs White - or Bolshi vs Capital, they are all hot enough, as an oven to take fire, as an oven shall it be heated and consumed, the stubble and all who do wickedly.
Religion against religion will be more dangerous than the other elements, for there are always discriminations where this is, and no doubt this is the meaning of Kingdom against Kingdom.
It's sad to contemplate, but for the silver lining of the Gospel which is to be preached to all nations, and when the uttermost ends of the sea (Isles) are to become the special field for victory. The very rising of Kingdom vs Kingdom will reveal the fact that God is not on either side, and prepare the people for the Gospel of the Kingdom. Even now the world is religion weary as well as war weary, and government weary, we can be sure that when the whore has been destroyed as in Rev.XVII: it will be a big day for the Gospel.
So long as Governments have a religion to foster, it blocks the way very materially, so that will be one of the 1st. results produced, they are to make war against the Lamb but He is to overcome. They shall hate the whore and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire, we have a sample of the Anti-church movement in Russia, and if it should play a part in the next war, I guess it can easily be foreseen what would happen to religion so-called.
The intriguing which is carried on by the religious people is very great in all national and international troubles. This is the disquieting element just now in Palestine and all over the East. It was the Jewish disibilities (sic) of Russia that produced the Bolshi, it's the disturbing and impossible element in Ireland, it's one of the questions in the Imperial conference; while the Indians insist on the no discrimination on the religious or color line.
If the places and rulers were removed it would make a clear field for the Gospel of the Kingdom. They have used the gifts of the rich to feed the poor, educate them etc., when they have no power to feed them, it will also open the door, there will be many great buildings idle and empty by the drought, for it will hit institutions of this kind hardest where charity is the channel for supplying.
The man with power to feed the multitude, will have the crowd in the wilderness. Whatever has been the power by which the harlot has got and retained power, will be what we can be sure will be destroyed, and the words of that verse are very full of meaning Rev.XVII: A soldier said to me the other day "we want less religion and more Xtianity", this expresses it well, even though he did not know exactly the full meaning of what he said, this is reflected in all manner of agitations going on.
I won't trouble you with more tonight, hope you get the benefit of Alfies, I enjoyed writing it. I sent the extract from his letter to New Zealand, or I would enclose it, best love to all in Christ Jesus.

What the Pentecostal people witness to in healing and tongues is part of the truth of God. I recognized it was wrong ever to speak against these things. I look on Miss Armstrong’s healing as the seal on my recognizing that as I had made her a test in the matter. I recognized the iniquity and wickedness of the Pentecostal people as the reason why there were no healings like hers and also the fact that Mrs. Ritzman could not get any no matter how much they tried to help her as the proof of their wickedness which was worse than even the Testimony.
I look back very kindly on all the privileges I had in Los Angeles for testing all that was in the whole religious world for I don’t know any place where you have a sample of everything religious as in Los Angeles and that’s the reason I was there in the purpose of God, that I might have a chance of seeing the reason for the absence of the blessing and power of God has always been the same in every age as He was manifested in Jesus and the apostles and in the early church…
As the Testimony today goes on in its wickedness imitating the way, truth and life without God as all others do the same. Because though they are outwardly righteous unto men, they are full of iniquity and hypocrisy and as I had proved it in the Testimony, so I proved the same things in every other kind of meeting in USA. For five years I was in every kind of meeting in USA in that time with an honest, hungry heart ready for any blessing they professed to have and only to find out that wickedness was in them all. They could all kill, but none of them could make alive, Testimony included. And I found less wickedness in a picture show than any meeting I went to. This was conclusive proof of their wickedness. To imitate healing and speaking in tongues is no different from the imitation of the Testimony. Only in one conference in the Terry Institute did I hear them discussing whether the Holy Ghost had been withdrawn from the world. Never did I hear anybody say that the reason for the condition in church and world was because wickedness had got the mastery…

My Dear Joe and Sarah and George:
Was glad to get yours and see that you are recovered from Rheumatism and unemployment, which are both bad diseases. There are 5 million in U.S.A. and G. Britain who are unemployed, and this is only a sample of the whole world. To get a little to do is surely one of the marks of God's favor, and we need not fight or grumble too much about the pay or the difficulties when we know what's behind all the trouble. They will all wake up soon to find less work; less of every other thing--for when Tribulation comes they will have neither work, food nor find money or property of any value; what a weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth when God goes on strike against nations, Capital, labor, Trades, union and all else. He has suffered long and been very kind, but He will not always keep back His wrath, and when it comes they will remember all their hardness of heart to one another and repent or perish.
May has been a very wonderful month in every sense of the word. It began in the killing of Jews in Palestine and ended in the same number of Negroes in Oklahoma. Whether the white killers or the Arab killers are worst we can't say. The Egyptians had a try at killing the Christians and burning, and looting was in the 3 cases. These things don't happen by chance and are pointers to something big. There will be Race War, Religious War, and War because of commercial advantages. The Moslems will be against the Jews and the Christians. Color will be against the whites. East against the West. This is kingdom against kingdom.
We are hearing much these days here of the coming storm, and there is much unrest amongst all the white race in the East as they see and hear the storm rising and the signs are not unnoticed. The weakening of England through the strikes and the Irish trouble is provoking the whole Eastern peoples to rise and demand all sorts of things in the shape of Liberty and equality and fraternity, which sounds all right in the American constitution; but which would mean bondage and oppression in the hands of the colored people, for the Ham seed can never treat the white man as his equal, but will seek to avenge all the wrong doing done to him since the day the Lord cursed Ham. Man's attempt to remove the curse God put on will surely end in great bloodshed. God removing from the Gentile nations power to rule the colored peoples will produce chaos; and the revenge against both Jew and Gentile will be terrible. England is in no mood or condition to fight the East, and here U.S.A. will have to come in as the 4th Beast to destroy the Earth.
It is much clearer today than at any time that the trouble will start on the Euphrates River; for both Bolshivist and Mohamedan are leagued against England and the League of Nations to fight for Mesopotamia, Palestine and Arabia, which has been taken from the Caliphate--or control of the Sultan in Constantinople. Threats and combinations have come to light these past weeks of this nature, and we are only waiting to hear the further symptoms appear. I think by the 4th of August, the anniversary of the last war, we may see it materialize, and the world is less prepared for what is coming than they were in 1914. The Irish question and trade troubles in England tempted Germany and it's now tempting the Eastern people--with far bigger results to follow. The mines and cotton mills and Engineers of Britain are all on strike and these are the 3 main industries of the English nation's prosperity.
Alfie's letter is very dead and dry. Poor fellow, he surely has missed it and one can only pity him in his folly, which seems much worse than Fannie Davis, Fanny Grey or others, but the secrets of men's hearts must be made manifest and none shall escape. The big Convention at home has been abandoned. So the Big Guns will find that things are much changed even in 2 months from what they expected, and I guess in 2 more months they will be much more changed. They may find it harder to return to their fields of labor than to come. Their gainsaying has not hindered the working out of His plans for the Judgment of the Wicked. He works slow but very sure, and none shall know they are in the snare. This is the reason their eyes are so blind and their ears deaf, and their mouths so busy because their hearts are hard. While Philistines feasted, Samson was feeling for the pillars to bring them down. While Belshazzar and his Princes feasted, the handwriting was on the wall and the army was at the gate to destroy them. While the multitude cried “Away with Him,” they were wounding themselves to death as a nation, and the wound is only being healed now in the Jews being restored to their lands as the sign for greater destruction to the Gentiles who have so long recognized the Jew's fate, little dreaming that it's only a pattern of their own, when the fullness of their cup runs over to Judgment. The wrath that was Jewish around the cross is now a Worldwide both to Jew and Christian; and kill the Christian and kill the Jew are being secretly circulated throughout the whole Colored Eastern nations, led by the Moslems.
I wrote D. Donaldson a couple of week ago, but he has never written yet, though he threatened to do so. I hope he may while he has time to escape out of the snare of the Devil. I trust Percy Abbott may be some comfort to you when he comes. He has learned many things since you saw him on the coast, at any rate be kind to him for he has done what he could on this side. Best love to Sarah, Self and George with all the others who share our reproach and shame.

My Dear Willie, Rose and Co:
Genesis 6 probably gives us the clearest of all records in the Book regarding the times in which we live, the conditions of the world.
Vs. 1 Men multiplied. Daughters born.
Vs. 2 Many fair daughters to choose from and the sons of God could choose which they thought best. The world full of many daughters of the Harlot - so that when men profess, they can choose whatever seems to be fairest in their eyes.
The Lord said - My Spirit shall not always strive with man to lead him (from the harlot ways of the fair daughters of the harlot); for he judges according to the flesh, so that I can't any longer lead or guide them. Yet 120 years I will give them a chance. The conditions of the Religious world are shown in our day in the above conditions.
Vs. 4. There were giants in the earth, mighty men, men of renown, such as we have read of these past years - Luther, Wesley, Bunyon, Spurgeon, and all their like of the present day.
Vs. 5. God saw. The proof the Lord was speaking was seen in the witness we bore against all the religious conditions in the World and along the lines given above. The proof that we saw as God saw, is that we recognized the wickedness of man and that every or the whole of man's imaginings in the religious, was only Evil everyday. These two things are my Chiefest Joy today as I can see how perfectly we said and saw here recorded.
Vs. 6. It caused the Lord to change His mind about allowing this wickedness to go on. It grieved Him at heart. To have shared the change of heart of the Lord towards the religious world and to share His anger against those things which made us witness against the whole religious world, consigning them to Hell or the pit. Both man, beast, creeping things and the Birds of the air - who were the carriers on of the wicked world - is very suggestive of the variety who are always the workers of Iniquity and Hypocrisy. Man, a beast of any sort but the Lamb of God; creeping things of every sort and fowl of the air. You notice it does not mention fish of the sea, indicating the natural sinners; only those who carried on the wickedness of the earth, which typifies the place where God is meant to dwell, as men find their home and environment. This may explain the sorts of animals in the Ark - only those who are mentioned in the Book as necessary for God and man's use. So the Ark did not probably contain either wolves, dogs, hog, etc. He destroyed the destroyers an saved the Sacrificers - both in men, Beasts, and Birds. If He saved in the Ark a man who was of the same king He destroyed, we may be sure there would be enough of the destroyed seed escape and reproduce themselves on the earth - while the mass perished.
Vs. 8. But Noah found grace in the eye of the Lord though he did not in the eyes of the wicked. Noah was a just man and upright; did, saw and said as God sees, and WALKED with God, kept himself free from the corruption and violence which filled the earth. All flesh had corrupted God's WAY on the earth. I will destroy them from off the earth.
How little the wicked would know of the difference between them and Him, Noah. The whole story centers on God, the Lord and the man - not the family, who could see, feel and say as God the Lord said and saw. He was the father of the family. The builder of the Ark, according to pattern. His Sons being helpers in building the Ark. An ark of Gopher wood. Pitched within and without to keep out the waters of wickedness. And so the Ark was finished and furnished, filled and closed, and the flood came and took all away who had not shared in the Blessing with Noah, the Man of God.
Ch. 7, Vs. 8. Knock out that old heresy which you see in any attempt to exclude animals unclean from the Ark and make them only clean. He destroyed all that was under the power of wickedness. But not the clean or unclean who were under the power of mercy - which probably throws some light on the difference between the sinners who are on the mercy side and service and those who are under the power of service of the wicked world. But though He could destroy those who were hopelessly wicked, He could not destroy the root of wickedness, which is revealed in Ham's choice - which must ever be Personality, free choice and free will exist.
There can be no doubt but that all God created and made, clean or unclean, are necessary for the perfecting us in His Image; for how could we ever be made God-like in Grace and Mercy if we did not have a field of operations where these things are needed every day? If we have no exercise for any power we have, it can never grow and develop. The unclean typify the vessel of wrath which will be destroyed. Just as the others will become useful in the furtherance of God's great universal eternal purpose and family.
Wickedness is the misuse of all our privileges, clean and unclean, making it impossible for the ultimate purpose of God in making us towards others what He is to His whole creation. The origin of Evil is clear in Ham's sin. The value of sin is clearly revealed in Noah's sin. The choice of Good is revealed in Shem and Japeth.
The origin of sin is very different from the origin of Evil. Sin comes from the human source. Evil from Devil. Sin is always the evidence of human nature and is possible so long as man is human and on the earth, and those who profess to be without Sin and not in need of daily forgiveness has not the truth of God in them, but surely are possessed of the same nature which made the angels proud and to fall by their own iniquity, rather then by the iniquity of their own nature, or that of God.
Human Equity teaches us to forgive because we need to be forgiven by others. Divine Equity teaches us to forgive as God forgives, and to pay the price of it in suffering the shame of identifying ourselves with the sinner and also the suffering in paying the price at the hands of the Devil Seed.
How many people complain about the sinful world! Put them in a
sealed vacuum and they would be sinners still. But the sinful world
gives them a good chance of showing whether they have the heart of God
or Devil. What must be God's chiefest joy everyday in forgiving sinners,
is like poison to the wicked, who forget they are flesh and blood relatives
to all the sons of men. Isaiah says they hide themselves from their
own flesh. For the sins of the world is proof of what we are by nature.
But the Devil refused to recognize that he was created to serve sinners
in their needs, and so refused the very service which would have perfected
him in likeness to God; and so he and all who are of him forget the value
the service and suffering which would make them Godly, and establish a
hypocritical standard of righteousness which can only be revealed as seen
in Noah, Ham and his brethren. Noah was the Father of the Father.
The architect who laid the foundation and finished the Ark according to
pattern, gathered in the family, filled the Ark with all sorts, opened
the door, etc. The others were only helpers and any attempt to steal
or claim what God had made Noah, looks very cheap and foolish today.
Those who have thought I ceased to be their father in the Gospel, and became
their Brother, as so many tried to make out when they were tested. Then those who have even ceased to be my brother and apologize for not
subscribing themselves as such, Jim, Eddie and quite a few others have
done - surely are their own condemners. You see how Paul put so many
to shame when he speaks about 10,000 instructors in Christ, yet have you
not many fathers.
I noticed in many for long their attempts to put their children as the proof that they were as I. Failing to recognize that whatever they could do or produce could only add to my crown and glory, or suffering and shame. Their attempts to prove that I should not have a right to the overlooking of the whole Ark is clear evidence of where they were. I was more needed to see the whole being made watertight, especially where the joinings and shapings came in, than anything else. What might easily seem to be Glorified Egotism in Ham's eyes, was only the natural outcome of responsibility which no one else could have.
I recognize today the conditions of our times as being only paralleled in the days of Noah, and so all attempts to work in the Apostles as evidence in their favor only blinds their eyes. God's overruling Providence in Noah getting drunk and lying in the door of his tent uncovered could no more be understood by Noah or his sons, than the conditions found in the lives of all who ever were the anointed of God; and as fully revealed in Jesus being made to appear the most Hopeless of all by being born of a virgin only espoused to Joseph. The shame and humiliation was Noah's. The Blessing and Exercise was Shem and Japheth's. The curse and consequences was Ham's
The list given in Matt. 1 and Luke 3 were those who were partakers of the Glory and the shame of God working in them, in a similar way to what you see Mary the Mother of Jesus suffer. And the sword that pierced her heart has pierced the hearts of all who have ever been the favored of God as it was in her case, and in that same similar method for the revealing of the secrets of men's hearts. See the witness of Simeon when filled with the Holy Spirit, Luke 2:34-35; also the witness of Anna, who spake of Him to all them that looked for the Redemption in Israel; and they were the outcasts of Israel. John said to Peter, we have found the Messiah, and we may be sure that such will be the experience of all who look for the Redemption these days. They will be the scattered sheep - the lost sheep - the outcasts of Israel, etc., while the 99 will be safe in the fold with no need to change their minds, satisfied with the reflection of their own righteousness, while the world sits in darkness and the shadow of death.
The 99 were looking back, in and around, while the sealed of God had their whole hopes set on the manifestation of the Messiah. First in Birth and then in anointing. How silently in Glory and shame God was working out His own Glorious purpose - inward glory and outward shame; the shame the camouflage of God. How dead the whole Religious and Political world was to it all, as they sought to possess an divide the little bit of Jewish Territory which is the mark of the whole world. Rome was the center of this work as London is today. Every particle of truth for these days is given in all its clearness in Noah, Ham, Shem and Japheth. Noah was the sinner, whose nakedness was the test of what was hid in the hearts of his sons which was to end in Blessing and cursing of the whole seed on the earth, to end in the Judging of men, the world, Jew and Gentile for all time.
Ham and his wife became more fruitful than even Shem and Japheth, but still bear the marks of the curse in being subject to their brethren. In these 4 men we have the seed plot of all that is now to be the harvest at the end of the age; not only of the Jew, but the Gentile. That the personal element in the Noah story should be so clear, shows how personal will be the Judgment. Nothing forced, but on the clear evidence of men's own eyes and ears.
Why did Ham see his father lying drunk and naked? Why did he have the first chance and the clearest opportunity to show what was in him and not in him in contrast with what was in his brethren and not in them? Why should some have written, signed evidence in their pockets to accuse others, whom they have turned their backs on? Why should so many inquisitions have been held to gather evidence against others? Why should they have fed themselves on these things while they have kept so many in the dark? Why should so many want to look on the nakedness of their father? Why should so many be satisfied with Ham's evidence and take his attitude in turning their back? Why should Shem and Japheth not have discovered their father first? Why should they not want to look on his nakedness? Why should they walk backwards towards their father trembling to cover him, knowing that he was naked and helplessly drunk. Why should they tell Noah when he awoke what Ham had done? Taking sides with the sinner against Ham their brother. Why should Noah not have been covered with shame at his conduct, but rather proceed to curse Ham first and bless his sons afterwards? Why should God have stood by the words of such a man? Why should Ham's wife produce Black children? Why did they not repent rather than go on to multiply their cursed seed on the earth? Would Shem and Japheth be able to see as Noah saw many marks in Ham during many years which could only end in one way? Why was Ham not left out of the Ark? Because he had not been manifested; showing that God will give every man all the chance He can in the Ark, or fold, or family. It's at the end, not the beginning, men are chosen or rejected and according to what we show we are towards those who have been the instruments of God in giving us the privileges which might have made us partakers of God's nature.
Did Shem and Japheth love God and keep His commandments in their attitude to Noah and Ham? Did God visit the iniquities of Ham on his family and seed? Is Shem and Japheth a sure test as to those who keep His commandments and understand the Scriptures? Were both seeds in the same family, have the same blood and all other privileges? Was Ham convinced he had made a mistake? Was he afraid of the Curse of Noah? Did his black children convince him? Did he miss the fellowship of Noah and his brothers? Did he know that God was against him as He once had been for him - though not allowed to work in him? Would he not try to justify his wickedness to all whom he met, and would not his own children be satisfied with what he had done? Would he not think he was the victim, rather than the worker of violence? Would he not shun his father's house and brothers and have hatred in his heart which expressed in silence and in separation? Would his family, home, friends and fellowship not all be poisoned with the sin of Noah as it was the principal theme of his thoughts and words and works? Would Ham not look on Shem and Japheth's attitude to Noah as likely to encourage Noah in his sin? Why not leave him lying as a spectacle to warn others from doing likewise? Did Shem and Japheth consider what they did and recognize it would bring them the Blessing or did they act on their human feelings and the Spirit they had working in them as they had seen it in Noah? Both sides expressed it exactly what they were. Ham had neither human or Divine love. The others had both and so considerations of the consequences did not matter. Our actions and words don't make our nature. They only express what is there, and God's tests are perfect to make us do this while blind to the consequences, whether of Good or Evil.
An Evil heart will justify every time. A Good heart can't do it; but will accuse it every time in spite of consequences. No man could by policy or method or wisdom, hide his heart nature when God tests. The test will be exactly suited to make manifest the nature. Shem and Japheth not only covered their father, but became the accusers of Ham, before they got the Blessing; and I notice this mark is where many fail, and leave themselves, as they think, neither sharing the Blessing nor the Curse. They try to be neutral - only to be still more tested - till they show what their heart nature is - and so we have seen many fall in the hole, trying to sit on both sides at one time. I suppose Noah's blessing and cursing of Ham and his brothers would be quite a test for those who might have been there. Had Noah any right either to Bless or Curse? Was a man in that condition fit to do it? Would Ham's rebuke have helped to keep his father straight in the future, or perhaps the other's actions would till the 3 sons were made manifest? Why did Noah not get drunk before he entered the Ark and make it manifest who Ham was? If he had been so long sober why get so drunk? Was Ham drunker than his father and more naked though he knew it not? But his brothers knew and his father also. Had Ham been drinking of the wine of her fornication which the Devil produces from the fruit of an evil heart, which revealed itself in an evil eye, tongue, feet and back? Can a man of God fail to detect these marks when seen in a man's actions and attitude? Can an evil heart recognize these things in himself? Would Ham have put up a big argument to his brothers to justify his actions only if there had been evil-hearted people to listen? But they happened to be all Godly, and saw, said and did and did not do was easily seen through and cursed and backed up by God. Supposed Ham had cursed his father for making such a mess of himself before the family. Would God have honored his words and would God ever honor him in all his activities no matter how big they were or how long continued? We can't blame Ham's wife; for she could only act with her husband. But she suffered just the same.
This might be worth taking a copy of for others who could benefit by it. Hope you are all well and hearty.

Your letter was one of the best I have got for sometime--It is kind, clear, candid and Christian. I am inclined to think that Willie feels in the shade when it comes to writing letters. We benefit more in writing letters than in getting them. I judge letter value by the train of thoughts they produce. The Spirit that works to reply to them. To write ------as we think and speak is the secret which often fails.
I can see that you are happy and healthy. I am sure Willie values
you more now than the day you were wed, which is the true test of value.
His suffering will all be forgotten in the present joy and comfort.
A true hearted, sympathetic wife gives pep to all that a man does.
Many a man has lost his life by accident thru lack of that--f---a woman
looses her health through --worries thru lack of appreciation. So
don't forget to cultivate true heart fruits for each other and the children
will naturally get their own share, as they grow up. The ----is the
part age that makes----rich or----
The worlds women today are seeking for ----, high and low for satisfaction--------for
a woman on the place ---occupy as wife--and home that have made no mistake
when Adam found me and he found Adam both God given to ----. This
is one of the strongest ---for the inspiration of the old book. It
---ideals as given in Isaiah? Work out ----. Genesis is the Book
of Beginnings of everything that counts and the nearer we get to what was
at the beginning, the better it works out at the end.
Revelation is only the crop of which Gen. Is the Seed. I'm glad the folks enjoy my letters and feel sure they will the more the fulfillment of them comes in sight. I don't make them. They make me. For every letter I write helps to enlighten and strength my own vision. I don't wonder at ---and Mother and Rosalie being strong for healing----? For if we never learn any one more definitely blessed in body, ---an spirit that Rosalie and I need and tell you it has been like new life to B---Father and Mother. Putting away food is only an optional matter. Abram lost anointing on the destruction. Lot lost all but is life. The faith that sees ahead sees as much ---thru all the food we can store. To order our life so that we will lose lease and save most--------
--------that all who had the clear vision----------preparation -------of
Judgment. The Children of Israel did not rely on the provision God
had made for the Wilderness. God saw to that. But they had
made provisions for the time til they got to the Red Sear where their enemies
were destroyed.
Noah prepared. Moses ---prepared. God prepared Pharoah
and Moses in the Wilderness. And God is again preparing the whole
world either for Salvation or Damnation. And good storing is only one of
the symptoms of our faith. If we had to flee as is clearly indicated
in the Tribulation days, some time would it not be a great comfort to know
which way to go and what to expect when we went, rather than to be driven
out and stampeded. I think LA would be very glad to find a place
under Abram's tree--shade and shelter. The way God honored the widows
cruise of oil and barrel of meal which lasted ----thru the famine is very
encouraging.. I'm sure most f the Big ------knew very little about
it and she was not --------that she was cooking the last for herself and
boy and prepared to die as she saw so many others do. When Elijah
appeared ,, it was what was in the final barrel that God increased for
all three. She only saved for herself and boy but it was the foundation
of provision for the 3 of them.
1 Kings XVI is a very sweet story and one can feed on it for these troublous days. She has no husband and an illegitimate boy. How little stock the Baalites would take in her---boy only to reproach them. Her rejection probably led her to prepare a little ---. There was little chance for her sharing with the righteous. You see her heart when the boy got sick. The man o God --------I know that thou art a man of God after he had restored the illegitimate son to life. What depth there is in revealing the heart of God and the knowledge of the heart of -----this woman had. Thru her sin and suffering. It makes ones heart overflow to think on the ----we have it helps to make us understand the why-----and the famine on Israel. Wm. Irvine's Letter To: Ritzmans

My Dear Ritzmans:
Your letters were very good to read, and kind was your gift. I’m quite sure you are not sorry for having left Fillmore, no matter how many temptations and trials you have had. Purifying, making white and trying us is not a small job; but the reward is – that we shall see – while the wicked shall do wickedly and shall not understand. One ray of God’s Sunlight or Starlight is more than a match for all the Great Red Dragon heads, horns and crowns of the wicked seed. They remind me of the buzzing of flies inside a wire trap attracted by something which appeals to their fly-nature. Happy is the fly that is driven out or kept out. For the trap will soon be put in water, and all who prided themselves on being on the inside will perish; while those – no matter what excuse they may have had for being outside – will escape. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man – means much more today than we thought it to mean 2 years ago, and is being fulfilled to the letter.
On 1 st of September was the official end of the war. I have not seen whether this has been recognized or not yet. But we noticed U.S.A. had made peace with Germany and Austria. It was on 5th of September that I first crossed the Atlantic to U.S.A. and on the same day – 7 years ago I crossed for the last time to U.S.A. How many things have taken place from my trip, and what a wade thru the Holy wickedness it has been for 28 years since I left all to seek to follow him on 1 st November, 1893. And I can see that all my hope and salvation has been in refusing to be satisfied with what I could but dimly see was not according to the pattern, and I would have been surely a fool if I had failed to see the same in regard to those who were the wicked seed on the inside – as I had proved it to be on the outside. Nothing but the grace of God and the grit of a man could have made these things possible; and my heart bounds with gratitude to God for all the mercies which have made it possible, and I would be ungrateful to God and untrue to my experience if I did not look forward to the Glory which lies ahead, - even though it be clouded with greater suffering.
The God who made me head in the choosing days has crowned me with the crown of 12 stars, as the head of the Bride. But only those who are clothed with the Son, the proof of God in them, can value or appreciate the help I can give them; and if they have suffered they have also shared the Light which God has surely given us these days; and if we have suffered, we shall reign. Your attitude towards Sinner is only the proof that you put the Moon under your feet. I did not live under their roof for so long without knowing what was working in their hearts. But it’s our duty and privilege to give them all the chance possible. But every plant which my Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Matthew 12: and 15: are full of deepest, fullest meaning for these days; for what Jesus was doing for the Jews in the day when their cup was overflowing with wickedness, He is doing by us in the fullness of the Gentile days; and the Gospel was taken from the Jews and then cast away, even so it will be taken from the Gentiles and give to the Heathen and the uttermost ends of the Earth during these next years. Ask of me and I will give thee the Heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost Isles of the Sea for thy possession. This has never been done yet, but we will be surprised to see the Everlasting Gospel appeal to the Heathen as never has been, while the Gentiles have been sending Missionaries to the Heathen for 100 years, and compassing sea and land to make proselytes. The Heathen have been multiplying faster than ever. The war, famine, and pestilence will reveal the Godliness of the Gentile world, but it will give opportunity for showing the Salvation, Strength and Kingdom of God and power of His anointed in providing, protecting, as well as saving and anointed those who have been disgusted by the Gentile Missionaries.
The falling away period will reveal the powerlessness of the Gentile Gospel, and reveal the fullness of the Everlasting Gospel as it is carried to the Nations in power by those who are anointed of God through the two Witnesses. This is the casting to the earth of the Dragon and his angels, and the sealing of those who are His by the Manchild. The Stone cut out of the Mountain without hands of man who will smite the image on it’s feet, and scatter it as dust; while the things appalls, and is quite beyond all our imaginations; but it’s quite easy to see the power of Him who sits on the Throne waiting till His enemies have been made His footstool; and when these things have been accomplished He will come to reign with the Meek of the Earth, who will become His Ambassadors on the whole Earth for 1000 years.
The Jews were looking for a King to come and deliver them from the Romans, and restore the Kingdom to Israel. In place of that, He came to His own and they rejected Him, to show they were blind through their weakness, and He delivered them to the Romans to be scattered and enslaved, and gave to the Gentiles the Gospel the Jews had lost and missed. I have no doubt but there will be Jews and Gentiles in the 144,000 who will publish the Everlasting Gospel, just as the Apostles were Jews redeemed out of the Israel through Jesus coming and being crucified by the Jews. It’s only a repetition of Moses and Jesus’ work on a world wide scale, both in Judgment and in Grace as in Noah’s time. It does not take much effort these days to see the signs in war, famine, and pestilence foreshadowing the more terrible things which are in the 2 nd Woe. The wicked are all expecting a time of blessing and return to prewar wicked conditions. But the 2 nd Woe will be just as much more terrible as the 1 st Woe was compared to prewar conditions. And the 3 rd Woe will begin when the 2 Witnesses are killed after setting up the Everlasting Gospel and being caught up to God and His Throne, as the proof that those who were counted worthy of death for the torment they have given the wicked world in spite of all the signs wrought on the Earth in saving, feeding and protecting by the Gospel.
I think you will see by this time how little value money, shares and property will be when the 2 nd Woe begins. Ireland will be the little fire that will kindle the while Roman Catholic world. The Jews will be a cause for both to fight the Protestants. The color line and claim for equality with the white men in the British Empire will also add to the strife, as well as the East against the West, which will send the white men missionary and business men home tin double quick time. The wealth in influence of the Western people as they are scattered over the East, will appeal powerfully to the Eastern people, and of course give the U.S.A. and British plenty of excuse for doing the killing of a 1/3 part of men who dwell on the earth. India is in a very dangerous condition. Irish trouble will soon begin again, and the more likely to spread through the world as it spread thru England, Ireland and Scotland the last time. The Turkish and Greek still carry on their trouble in the near East, And whether we see it or not we know that every move made will only be for worse, whether the Peace and Safety of Washington is to be climax or not I don’t know, but the longer they delay it the more big and terrible it all appears.
The Red Cross and all other church movements can do much to ameliorate the danger from famine in China and Russia. But what can they do when drought becomes world wide? Their Gold will not long stand when God begins to expose their villainy. England has 10 million who are tasting starvation through half work, high wages and short hours. U.S.A. has 10 million who are facing starvation through high exchange between her and other Nations. So have they made the stick to beat themselves and the cord to strangle them, as Russia has done with all other Nations. It’s truly wonderful how easy it seems for God to let me commit suicide in Wisdom. Conditions in Russia shows what 6 months can do with no rain; and all the others have suffered this year, though they try to hide it, as did the Russians as long as possible. They don’t seem to recognize it’s just as easy for God to give no rain to the whole world for 3 ½ years, as to give them all drought and heat for a summer.
Conditions in Poland and Russian Border are very bad; and though they try to hide cholera and Typhus conditions, they are bad enough. 60 million people said to be living in the celts they travelled in around Roga. Food prices will likely go up for those in England and U.S.A. who are idle or partly idle, with little chance for them getting any consideration. We could hardly believe that the success of the miners strike after 13 weeks idle was the method of giving England her taste of famine amongst the 10 workers, or the U.S.A. financials keeping up their exchange would produce 6 million unemployed and 4 million suffering thru having cotton which they could not sell.
1000 Indians were killed in the recent troubles. They are burning English materials in all the large cities and trying to produce their own materials. While the papers are full of hope of better things, men’s hearts are failing them for fear. If you notice the attention paid to fleeing the children, you will find this is the fulfilling of Revelation 9:4, not to hurt the grass, neither any green thing, neither any tree, only those men who have not the Seal of God in their foreheads.
Verse 6 is being fulfilled in Russia these days. They seek death and shall not find it. It’s not time for them, they will get enough to keep them alive and in misery, as most of the people in Russia and Poland are. They can only offer them half food, which slowly reduces them and makes them the riper for the great death that is coming.
I trust you all enjoy seeing the signs as much as I do both in Testimony and in the world. Every little move has only made matters clearer in both senses. Your Watts experiences brought out quite a number of evidences which showed me who are, and the Eastern prophets confirmed what we had seen then. So we may be sure that there will be nothing but devouring on the one hand, Light and suffering the other from the Dragon. And what a day of weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth that they were so privileged, and missed it all.

P.S. Regarding the auto. The cheapest way of travelling in USA is by auto and this accounts for 8 million of them being used. For 100 pounds, I got a good machine with tent, blankets and all I needed. This saved me board and lodging and train fare and enabled me to be free to go anywhere I wanted. I covered 12,000 miles first year. Sought in every way and place if I could find a man with God in him; and the end of the quest was to find out that what I sought—I was. For one could see hundreds of ways in which the Devil deceived men; but not one that I could see was off the Devil. I sold the machine for 38 pounds after 3 years service. I look on it as one of the best and wisest choices I ever made—even to the giving of my enemies a chance of showing their accusing spirit.
During these 3 years, many of them had spent many times that in running around spreading their wickedness. If I had to give an account of all my _?_ expenditures for 29 years, it would be a bad day for most of those who try to compete; for it was my sacrifice and self-denial which made it possible for most of them to enjoy today what I produced. They have spent much and lived delicately in turning the house I built into a den of thieves. I knew much more about their extravagance than they suspect and on the hypocritical pretense of many of them to be working in missions when it has been a matter of running around feeding their dog and hog. My absence made it possible for many to do what they were afraid to do when I was about; and they little suspected that they should be more afraid now than ever.
Wm. Irvine’s Letter To: Edwards

My dear Willie and Rose, and Co.:
I did not mention Isaiah 66:3 in my last to you. It's good to recognize that all the prophets, Jesus, and the Anointed were in the same position we are in now, when they wrote what we are reading for our comfort these days—rejected, despised, persecuted by those who were accepted, honored, and persecutors.
He that killeth an ox refers to the burnt offering, peace offering, and meat offering which typified the acceptance with God, peace with God, and fellowship with God through the death of Jesus. But they also stand for acceptance of our brother, peace with all men, and fellowship with all men on the same ground. There is no difference; all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. And our acceptance is in the Beloved, so that we can’t afford to reject or speak evil of others, or be at war with other, and claim the benefits, else it becomes as the murder of our brother.
Matt. 5: 21-26 shows us what this murder means: to be angry with your brother, to say Raca—no good-- or thou fool, stand for spiritual murder. And you might as well try to please God by the sacrifice of your brother as to be accepted while thus acting. It’s the sin of Cain. The crucifiers of the Son of God afresh and putting Him to an open shame. The trampling of the blood of the Son—blood of the covenant wherewith we are sealed until the day of redemption; and doing despite to the Spirit of His Grace, denying the Lord who brought them.
To kill a man rather than an ox on the old altar would have been to make men believe that murder would please God. This is exactly what the Pharisees did when they killed Jesus--believing and teaching men that they were killing Jesus to please God and save men. John says He that hateth his brother is a murderer, and no murderer hath eternal life. Hereby perceive ye the love of God, because he laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Not as Cain, who was of the Wicked One and slew his brother; and wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteousness acceptable to God. [1st John 3:15 & 16]
You will find that the underlying cause for all the hatred will one day be summed up in the conscious feeling of the difference between us and them, which moves every passion of evil: envy, jealousy, malice, guile, hypocrisy which express themselves in persecution even to death. The Devil has the power of death and all that leads to it. You might as well expect blood from a stone as love from an unregenerate, wicked child of the Devil; just as you could never expect hatred and persecution from a child of God. What we see is the manifestation for our eyes to see what He saw to be in them from the beginning: pride and iniquity such as the Devil had when he was rejected.
“When he offers a lamb:” this has reference to the sin and trespass offering. To claim forgiveness of sins or trespasses and not give forgiveness is like a man coming with a dog sacrifice in place of a lamb. To accuse others and claim forgiveness is the sacrifice of a dog. To pour out an oblation-- testify or preach--under the above conditions is like pouring out swine’s blood, which was abominable to God. To offer incense--or prayer-- to God is same as to make an idol according to your on heart and bless it, while disregarding Jesus who is the image of God. This is the four-fold sin of the Wicked: murder; act of the dog; hog; and idolatry. “Yea they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations” are awful words. “I also will choose their delusions.” So we can see that all their interpretation of scripture will be to lift them up to Heaven, and dash them down to Hell before their fellows. It shows the tragedy of Cain and Abel and that of Calvary will ever be repeated wherever there is any anointing of God in the whole world. And it can only be revealed where the Anointed are. The mote of sin will ever reveal the log of wickedness. Verse 5: “Your brethren which hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said ‘let the Lord be glorified.’ This is their challenge—“He shall appear to your joy and they shall be ashamed.”
I look upon the ability to carry such a burden as I had to face by the grace of God and the grit of a man for twenty years, and to accomplish anything for even a few, as the work of a giant. Even though I appear like a mouse to them.
To have been surrounded by murderers, dogs, swine, and idolaters and do what we did was no mean day’s work. And all the help they could ever give me was to help themselves at my, and other’s expense, and to hinder me. A world full of Judas-hearted men could never help, but only hinder. And I recognize the power of God was mighty to keep them even in subjection by the rod and fear of it.
It was glorious work carried out in the most wicked days in the world’s history and nobly finished. And being thoroughly gifted and tested so that no one who ever heard The Voice of God and responded to it can perish; and all who heard and did not let God work in them through pride and iniquity can only perish. There is little choice. You can see that to speak of the Devil’s zoo is not inappropriate: goats, dogs, hogs, and wolves all pretending to be apostles and followers of the meek and lowly Jesus. And emphasizing the fact that Jesus is the way, truth, and life which they could never have been able to say by their own anointing.
If the Devil has made himself the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air—or what can be done by speech, song, prayer, and discipline without God in it, is it any wonder that our wicked brothers should seek to displace those who are of God and claim the whole Mammon of Unrighteousness?
Have you noticed Luke 16 in its relationship and explanation of the 15th? Why the one became heir, and how the other was disinherited. And how it is illustrated in practical detail in the 17th chapter?
The unjust and just steward as illustrated in the one, Dives, who had taken more than enough, and then Lazarus who had less than he needed. The unjust wasted his master’s goods by taking too much, and had too little to give to those in need. His heart is revealed by what he said within himself: he felt he could not dig, and to beg he was ashamed. These two conditions have much to do in making people schemers for themselves all through life; and more in the name of God than in any other way. When he is put out of his stewardship, he purposes to act so as to be received into their houses. With God, it is possible to face poverty, digging, and begging if need be. Without God, these things are impossible. So with the consciousness of powerlessness, comes the scheming for a place in the hearts and homes of the people.
How much owest thou? An hundred measures of oil. Sit down and write fifty. To make people reduce their debt of gratitude to God by fifty per cent. To another, how much? An hundred measures of wheat. Sit down and write eighty.
Oil is from the Tree, wheat, from the Earth. The one is the grace of God towards others. The wheat is the fruit of the land, tilled—or the herbs mete for them who were the dressers.
You notice how the unjust provide for themselves by robbing the master and his servants and reducing the debt of others, so that they, like himself, will have, so that master and servants will have less. How this outlines our brethren’s attitude towards those who professed to owe one hundred per cent.
They cut grace in half by showing that they can love God and hate their brother. They cut down the hospitality, showing that they don’t need to show us any more herb fruit; thorns will do as well. And by our loss of love and hospitality, they succeed in working their way in, and us out. This seems very wise, if there was no God and no spiritual kingdom.
And to those who have wasted the grace of God and missed being made partakers of the Divine Nature, it is very pleasing to their eyes. But quite impossible to those who have tasted that the Lord is gracious, not only to us, but to all men; and never more than when we need him most. So they succeed in getting the Mammon of Unrighteousness and losing the eternal riches, of which they have been entrusted as stewards. There is a big difference between a slave steward and an heir born into the family son and bastard.
The one of the Bride, the other of the Whore. “Make yourselves friends of the Mammon of Unrighteousness--” what we get without the anointing of God and His Nature.
Pride and iniquity always will get the Mammon of Unrighteousness, as humility and equity will always inherit the nature and kingdom of God. He that is faithful in the least—or outward things—is faithful in that which is much.
If we have been unfaithful in getting more than our fair share from man and Devil, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have been unfaithful in that which belongs to other men, who shall give you that which is your own by promises? So that Dives’ gain was the exact measure of his loss; and Lazarus’ less, through Dives having more than his own, was the exact measure of his heavenly gain.
You notice that the day of accusing is the judgment days, such as we’ve had these years; the penalty comes at the end in death and torment, and death and comfort. But in our case, it will be different in that the manifestation is to be on the Earth, owing to the end of the age. And then the fuller manifestation during the Thousand as the Bride, when the other is with the Beast, False Prophet, and the Devil in the pit. And the longer eternal conditions forever—eternal life, and eternal death.
No servant can serve two masters. You cannot have the reward of pride and iniquity from man, and the seal of God by His Spirit through humility and equity. Or slave service to God and man in manifesting the grace of God, which is the highest service possible, whether it’s by being a Prodigal and manifest the grace of God to the world, or as an Elder Brother—take all for ourselves and have nothing to give, which is the most unfaithful stewardship a man can touch.
We will either hate God and love the gifts that come from the Devil and his selfish seed, or we will hold to God and despise all that others value and enjoy from the Wicked Seed. The Pharisees, who were covetous, derided Him. Are all Pharisees covetous? Is this the reason our brethren have coveted all we had given us amongst men by God’s seal, so that they take it by violence from the god of this world, and by the prince of the power of the air—the spirit that worketh disobedience? Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; surely marks of our brothers, but God knoweth your hearts. That which is highly esteemed amongst men is abomination in the sight of God. Is it true that the very things, which have given our brethren preeminence, are abominable in God’s sight--their hands, feet, and eyes, their holy zeal and fury in name of God? I believe it heartily and pity them.
The law and the prophets were until John (an outward kingdom). Since then the Kingdom of God is preached does not depend on place, power, or position before men, but relationship to God, and the fruit of it seen in our attitude to men.
Every man presseth into it as the expense of losing all to Mammon. Dives and Lazarus are the sample of how, and how not. The one gets all but God; and the other gets little else but God.
Luke 16:17: It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass than to violate one tittle of the Law—the law of sacrifice, which proves our faithfulness to God and man. We ever bear the seal that Lazarus bore, just as Dives bears the seal of having broken the law at every point.
Verse 18: The inward heart condition (the Bridegroom) can never be divorced from the outward Bride manner of life. It is spiritual adultery to separate them. It is also adultery to have the outward without the inward. So that to be like the Pharisee, professing to be the seed of God, and have the Mammon of unrighteousness: the place, power, and position, and recognition they had from men, proved their harlot hearts, as did Judas who had married the outward without having the inward relationship. Then comes the illustration of Dives and Lazarus, which you are familiar with.
Luke 17 is the application of Luke 15 sonship, as Luke 16 is the same to stewardship to God and man practically applied and illustrated with the separation which is to take place in the being in bed. Two grinding; two in the field, one taken, the other left. And they said, Where Lord?
Wheresoever the body, or carcass, whether it be the inward with the outward, or outward without the inward, there will the eagles be gathered together. It shows that death, whether revealed by outward, or hid by outward cannot escape the judgments of God. So we should rejoice in having the outward marks of Lazarus, as well as the inward revelation and comfort of God.
In moving about the world, we have just about as many who imitate Lazarus without any inward marks of the Lamb Nature, as we have of those who profess to have the inwards of God and the Mammon of Unrighteousness. In either case, they are the Whore.
True Sonship and true stewardship will be combined in those who are His own; and all who are His will recognize them, just as the others will reject them. True sonship will produce the heart the Prodigal had for his father. Sonship, hindered by pride and iniquity, will find its parallel in being like the Elder Brother towards brother and father as accuser of the Son and Father and the Spirit’s grace. True stewardship will be proven in our holding to God and His grace towards others, through all the rejection and shame that comes from those who seek the Mammon of unrighteousness, and despise the unseen kingdom which God only can give; and which is preached, not set up on the Earth, but which we press into in spite of all the suffering and shame attached to it. If we have the outward, we should have the inward. The proof of it is seen in how it affects us in rejection and shame; and how it affects others in comfort and help.
Paul’s, Peter’s, James’, Jude’s, and John’s Epistles show the inward heart and comfort they had for others who were being tested. Showing that they had both the outward and inward, and so sere the true test or the sheep and goats then, as we are today.

July 13, 1921

My dear Arthur and Virgie:
I have had 2 helpful openings of the Book the past 30 days. First - the mark of the Beast, which I may have before given. This is the trade-mark of the Jewish people in Palestine. It has 6 lines, 6 triangles, and 6 points -666 - which is helpful in reading Rev.13. I have heard and seen many readings of the 666, but this is the best and most reliable, and could only come as a result of coming into close contact with the business Jews here.
Another is Daniel, which I tried to give W. Edwards a little on the 11th. The key is in Dan. 10:14 where it shows that the revelation is for the Jews in the latter days. This makes Dan. 10 a record of these days in relationship to their coming to Palestine, and it's very clearly being fulfilled. Persia means the Kingdom of Persia as it used to be, as you see it in your maps. It includes Turkey, Mesopotamia, Persia and Syria. The 4th King, who is richer than them all, I take for India, who will back the Turks. The King of the great dominion is England, whose dominion is divided towards N.S.E and W. England is the only Kingdom who has territories to lose that are N. S. E. and W. Verses 5 and 12 is Egypt which is seeking independence, and has a prince of great dominion over - the Sultan of Egypt.
The fact that it's South of Palestine reads right. Vs. 13; the King of the North, refers to the power that is North. Vs. 23; refers to the Jewish Anti-christ, coming up with little people, and all the rest of the chapter is an outline of what we may expect in the Anti-christian reign. The last verse shows that the Kaiser and the Germans were type of the Jews and their Anti-christ. The Kaiser's palace on the glorious Holy Mount of Olives is now the headquarters of the Anti-christians; and as the Kaiser's END was, so shall the Anti-christian's END be, so that we may say the past 7 years war was typical of the 7 years Tribulations, which will center around the Jews getting Jerusalem. Everything points in that direction today.
Rev. 12 opened up beautifully thru Alfie McGowan's last letter--reveals the whole outline of the conflict, which we have a part in, to our JOY and the SORROW of our enemies, it will be in the END. The Kingdom of Heaven is composed of all who profess; the Kingdom of God is of all who God possesses. The sign of the woman in Heaven is the Bride, the chosen from amongst the called ( therefore rejoice ye heavens and all that dwell therein) with garments of the Sun, which stands for having Love, Light and Life, which is typified by the 3 elements in a ray of sunlight. Heat, light, and power -- as opposed to the Moon, who is only a reflector of the Sunlight, but gives no heat and has no power or energy. The Moon under her feet shows she recognizes those themselves in keeping true to the light-we gave them.
On her head 12 stars, as a Crown, typifying fullness of Light from God on her head. She sticks to her Head, that makes her body--the Bride. She being with child--a new hidden purpose, the bringing forth the man-child, which she sacrifices and suffers for, in her weakness in fear---cried travailing in birth and pain to be delivered. This is very much our experience while we saw much of this before, but what follows reveals our enemies. The 2nd wonder is the Kingdom of Heaven, --both are signs of the Time. A Great -- those who consider themselves the greatest in Matt. 18 sense, and who lead the Goats in Matt. 25. Red-blood-guilty, thru their accusing and unforgiveness, AS THE WOMAN WHITE WITH MERCY--expressing Love, Light and Life. DRAGON - big in flesh, with a brute nature as Peter refers to --NATURAL BRUTE BEASTS, (2 Pet. 2:13) made to be taken and destroyed. Dragon has ox's head, body and serpent's tail, speaking and serving God - and doing the Devil's work, have 7 heads.
Alfie McGowan accuses me of being autocratic, like Nebuchadnezzar and Napoleon. He fails to see that Daniel was THEOCRATIC, and all the MEN we read of, who were men of God. He claims there should have been many in control, as Democracy always wants. This explains why the false prophets were always many headed, while the Prophet was the True Head, whom they persecuted in the CHOOSING days.
I was used of God to make them ONE - the world over, and it was successful. They have been 7-headed in destroying the work I did. There are quite a little number of Testimony Sects today. The many Heads have all 10 horns, strong for defense and offense--strong to defend The Testimony, and under this pretense, horn and devour the Sheep who form the Bride. The fact that it's a Beast and not a man or woman, shows they are unregenerate, and the serpent's tail indicates they are partakers of the nature. Seven Crowns on this Head, shows they get the honor from man, and all the Dragon seed have done in their day thru their outwardly righteous appealing to the eye of man, unregenerate, have no eye to see the inside, only the outside; his tail drew 1/3 part of the stars of Heaven - may indicate that some of those who are the Sons of God may be drawn up by the Tail.
A great many workers have no use for the Heads, but hold onto the tail because it gives them advantage in Bread and etc. "Cast down to the Earth"--in doing this they have lost their power of God and are as the others, DEAD. The Dragon stood before the woman--this is the principal work of the whole Testimony, to withstand the Bride and devour what she should bring forth; what the Bride is most interested in, they are most anxious to destroy.
The more they make me the center of attack, the better I like it; and the more others suffer standing by me the better I like it, for their sakes . She brought forth a man-child - in spite of all their standing to devour, they can never hinder the purpose of God, and her child was caught up -- proving that he finished the work God gave him to do, and went Home where they could not devour any more. The woman fled into the wilderness and etc., which reminds us of the Hatred they have towards any preparation, which may be God's way of preparing a place. If we did not see the NEED, we might find it difficult to follow His leading when the Day of Danger comes.
All your present experiences will be valuable, and if you did not need what you have, you will not have lost anything, as it would all perish in another way when you flee. So our Big Red Friends are not as wise as the weak woman.
Verse 7-- In Heaven here we see the conflict which has been raging in The Testimony, and those who are for us, and who are against us - and their END - cast out--made manifest as the old Serpent, the Devil and Satan, deceiveth the whole world, as well as The Testimony. Many say they are just like the other sects.
Verse 10 - Now is come salvation and strength we thought we had lost, and the Kingdom of God, and the power of Christ, which was hindered by their accusing of these who were the seed of God, day and night.
Verse 11 shows how the Bride overcame the wicked one--1st by believing in the Blood of the Lamb for sinners, 2nd by keeping their mouth open so that God could speak by them, 3rd by being willing to suffer for it. Therefore, rejoice ye Heavens and ye that dwell in them, for WOE to the earth and the son (sic) (note 1), because the Devil will torment them and make them devour one another. I can see what hatred and fighting will develop amongst them when they see all their plans and purposes fall, and they are cast out and made manifest as of the Devil.
So God makes the wrath of men to praise Him, even in Alfie McGowan helping to make manifest the Truth of God. The Dragon was one of the points Alfie attacked on. It's in this same way that nearly all Light has come.
I am well, hale, hearty and sure of victory, and it can't come too soon, which same I hope for all who are the Bride.

My Dear Willie, Rose and Co:
Genesis 6 probably gives us the clearest of all records in the Book regarding the times in which we live, the conditions of the world.
Vs. 1 Men multiplied. Daughters born.
Vs. 2 Many fair daughters to choose from and the sons of God could choose which they thought best. The world full of many daughters of the Harlot - so that when men profess, they can choose whatever seems to be fairest in their eyes.
The Lord said - My Spirit shall not always strive with man to lead him (from the harlot ways of the fair daughters of the harlot); for he judges according to the flesh, so that I can't any longer lead or guide them. Yet 120 years I will give them a chance. The conditions of the Religious world are shown in our day in the above conditions.
Vs. 4. There were giants in the earth, mighty men, men of renown, such as we have read of these past years - Luther, Wesley, Bunyon, Spurgeon, and all their like of the present day.
Vs. 5. God saw. The proof the Lord was speaking was seen in the witness we bore against all the religious conditions in the World and along the lines given above. The proof that we saw as God saw, is that we recognized the wickedness of man and that every or the whole of man's imaginings in the religious, was only Evil everyday. These two things are my Chiefest Joy today as I can see how perfectly we said and saw here recorded.
Vs. 6. It caused the Lord to change His mind about allowing this wickedness to go on. It grieved Him at heart. To have shared the change of heart of the Lord towards the religious world and to share His anger against those things which made us witness against the whole religious world, consigning them to Hell or the pit. Both man, beast, creeping things and the Birds of the air - who were the carriers on of the wicked world - is very suggestive of the variety who are always the workers of Iniquity and Hypocrisy. Man, a beast of any sort but the Lamb of God; creeping things of every sort and fowl of the air. You notice it does not mention fish of the sea, indicating the natural sinners; only those who carried on the wickedness of the earth, which typifies the place where God is meant to dwell, as men find their home and environment. This may explain the sorts of animals in the Ark - only those who are mentioned in the Book as necessary for God and man's use. So the Ark did not probably contain either wolves, dogs, hog, etc. He destroyed the destroyers an saved the Sacrificers - both in men, Beasts, and Birds. If He saved in the Ark a man who was of the same king He destroyed, we may be sure there would be enough of the destroyed seed escape and reproduce themselves on the earth - while the mass perished.
Vs. 8. But Noah found grace in the eye of the Lord though he did not in the eyes of the wicked. Noah was a just man and upright; did, saw and said as God sees, and WALKED with God, kept himself free from the corruption and violence which filled the earth. All flesh had corrupted God's WAY on the earth. I will destroy them from off the earth.
How little the wicked would know of the difference between them and Him, Noah. The whole story centers on God, the Lord and the man - not the family, who could see, feel and say as God the Lord said and saw. He was the father of the family. The builder of the Ark, according to pattern. His Sons being helpers in building the Ark. An ark of Gopher wood. Pitched within and without to keep out the waters of wickedness. And so the Ark was finished and furnished, filled and closed, and the flood came and took all away who had not shared in the Blessing with Noah, the Man of God.
Ch. 7, Vs. 8. Knock out that old heresy which you see in any attempt to exclude animals unclean from the Ark and make them only clean. He destroyed all that was under the power of wickedness. But not the clean or unclean who were under the power of mercy - which probably throws some light on the difference between the sinners who are on the mercy side and service and those who are under the power of service of the wicked world. But though He could destroy those who were hopelessly wicked, He could not destroy the root of wickedness, which is revealed in Ham's choice - which must ever be Personality, free choice and free will exist.
There can be no doubt but that all God created and made, clean or unclean, are necessary for the perfecting us in His Image; for how could we ever be made God-like in Grace and Mercy if we did not have a field of operations where these things are needed every day? If we have no exercise for any power we have, it can never grow and develop. The unclean typify the vessel of wrath which will be destroyed. Just as the others will become useful in the furtherance of God's great universal eternal purpose and family.
Wickedness is the misuse of all our privileges, clean and unclean, making it impossible for the ultimate purpose of God in making us towards others what He is to His whole creation. The origin of Evil is clear in Ham's sin. The value of sin is clearly revealed in Noah's sin. The choice of Good is revealed in Shem and Japeth.
The origin of sin is very different from the origin of Evil. Sin comes from the human source. Evil from Devil. Sin is always the evidence of human nature and is possible so long as man is human and on the earth, and those who profess to be without Sin and not in need of daily forgiveness has not the truth of God in them, but surely are possessed of the same nature which made the angels proud and to fall by their own iniquity, rather then by the iniquity of their own nature, or that of God.
Human Equity teaches us to forgive because we need to be forgiven by others. Divine Equity teaches us to forgive as God forgives, and to pay the price of it in suffering the shame of identifying ourselves with the sinner and also the suffering in paying the price at the hands of the Devil Seed.
How many people complain about the sinful world! Put them in a sealed vacuum and they would be sinners still. But the sinful world gives them a good chance of showing whether they have the heart of God or Devil. What must be God's chiefest joy everyday in forgiving sinners, is like poison to the wicked, who forget they are flesh and blood relatives to all the sons of men. Isaiah says they hide themselves from their own flesh. For the sins of the world is proof of what we are by nature. But the Devil refused to recognize that he was created to serve sinners in their needs, and so refused the very service which would have perfected him in likeness to God; and so he and all who are of him forget the value the service and suffering which would make them Godly, and establish a hypocritical standard of righteousness which can only be revealed as seen in Noah, Ham and his brethren. Noah was the Father of the Father. The architect who laid the foundation and finished the Ark according to pattern, gathered in the family, filled the Ark with all sorts, opened the door, etc. The others were only helpers and any attempt to steal or claim what God had made Noah, looks very cheap and foolish today. Those who have thought I ceased to be their father in the Gospel, and became their Brother, as so many tried to make out when they were tested. Then those who have even ceased to be my brother and apologize for not subscribing themselves as such, Jim, Eddie and quite a few others have done - surely are their own condemners. You see how Paul put so many to shame when he speaks about 10,000 instructors in Christ, yet have you not many fathers.
I noticed in many for long their attempts to put their children as the proof that they were as I. Failing to recognize that whatever they could do or produce could only add to my crown and glory, or suffering and shame. Their attempts to prove that I should not have a right to the overlooking of the whole Ark is clear evidence of where they were. I was more needed to see the whole being made watertight, especially where the joinings and shapings came in, than anything else. What might easily seem to be Glorified Egotism in Ham's eyes, was only the natural outcome of responsibility which no one else could have.
I recognize today the conditions of our times as being only paralleled in the days of Noah, and so all attempts to work in the Apostles as evidence in their favor only blinds their eyes. God's overruling Providence in Noah getting drunk and lying in the door of his tent uncovered could no more be understood by Noah or his sons, than the conditions found in the lives of all who ever were the anointed of God; and as fully revealed in Jesus being made to appear the most Hopeless of all by being born of a virgin only espoused to Joseph. The shame and humiliation was Noah's. The Blessing and Exercise was Shem and Japheth's. The curse and consequences was Ham's
The list given in Matt. 1 and Luke 3 were those who were partakers of the Glory and the shame of God working in them, in a similar way to what you see Mary the Mother of Jesus suffer. And the sword that pierced her heart has pierced the hearts of all who have ever been the favored of God as it was in her case, and in that same similar method for the revealing of the secrets of men's hearts. See the witness of Simeon when filled with the Holy Spirit, Luke 2:34-35; also the witness of Anna, who spake of Him to all them that looked for the Redemption in Israel; and they were the outcasts of Israel. John said to Peter, we have found the Messiah, and we may be sure that such will be the experience of all who look for the Redemption these days. They will be the scattered sheep - the lost sheep - the outcasts of Israel, etc., while the 99 will be safe in the fold with no need to change their minds, satisfied with the reflection of their own righteousness, while the world sits in darkness and the shadow of death.
The 99 were looking back, in and around, while the sealed of God had their whole hopes set on the manifestation of the Messiah. First in Birth and then in anointing. How silently in Glory and shame God was working out His own Glorious purpose - inward glory and outward shame; the shame the camouflage of God. How dead the whole Religious and Political world was to it all, as they sought to possess an divide the little bit of Jewish Territory which is the mark of the whole world. Rome was the center of this work as London is today. Every particle of truth for these days is given in all its clearness in Noah, Ham, Shem and Japheth. Noah was the sinner, whose nakedness was the test of what was hid in the hearts of his sons which was to end in Blessing and cursing of the whole seed on the earth, to end in the Judging of men, the world, Jew and Gentile for all time.
Ham and his wife became more fruitful than even Shem and Japheth, but still bear the marks of the curse in being subject to their brethren. In these 4 men we have the seed plot of all that is now to be the harvest at the end of the age; not only of the Jew, but the Gentile. That the personal element in the Noah story should be so clear, shows how personal will be the Judgment. Nothing forced, but on the clear evidence of men's own eyes and ears.
Why did Ham see his father lying drunk and naked? Why did he have the first chance and the clearest opportunity to show what was in him and not in him in contrast with what was in his brethren and not in them? Why should some have written, signed evidence in their pockets to accuse others, whom they have turned their backs on? Why should so many inquisitions have been held to gather evidence against others? Why should they have fed themselves on these things while they have kept so many in the dark? Why should so many want to look on the nakedness of their father? Why should so many be satisfied with Ham's evidence and take his attitude in turning their back? Why should Shem and Japheth not have discovered their father first? Why should they not want to look on his nakedness? Why should they walk backwards towards their father trembling to cover him, knowing that he was naked and helplessly drunk. Why should they tell Noah when he awoke what Ham had done? Taking sides with the sinner against Ham their brother. Why should Noah not have been covered with shame at his conduct, but rather proceed to curse Ham first and bless his sons afterwards? Why should God have stood by the words of such a man? Why should Ham's wife produce Black children? Why did they not repent rather than go on to multiply their cursed seed on the earth? Would Shem and Japheth be able to see as Noah saw many marks in Ham during many years which could only end in one way? Why was Ham not left out of the Ark? Because he had not been manifested; showing that God will give every man all the chance He can in the Ark, or fold, or family. It's at the end, not the beginning, men are chosen or rejected and according to what we show we are towards those who have been the instruments of God in giving us the privileges which might have made us partakers of God's nature.
Did Shem and Japheth love God and keep His commandments in their attitude to Noah and Ham? Did God visit the iniquities of Ham on his family and seed? Is Shem and Japheth a sure test as to those who keep His commandments and understand the Scriptures? Were both seeds in the same family, have the same blood and all other privileges? Was Ham convinced he had made a mistake? Was he afraid of the Curse of Noah? Did his black children convince him? Did he miss the fellowship of Noah and his brothers? Did he know that God was against him as He once had been for him - though not allowed to work in him? Would he not try to justify his wickedness to all whom he met, and would not his own children be satisfied with what he had done? Would he not think he was the victim, rather than the worker of violence? Would he not shun his father's house and brothers and have hatred in his heart which expressed in silence and in separation? Would his family, home, friends and fellowship not all be poisoned with the sin of Noah as it was the principal theme of his thoughts and words and works? Would Ham not look on Shem and Japheth's attitude to Noah as likely to encourage Noah in his sin? Why not leave him lying as a spectacle to warn others from doing likewise? Did Shem and Japheth consider what they did and recognize it would bring them the Blessing or did they act on their human feelings and the Spirit they had working in them as they had seen it in Noah? Both sides expressed it exactly what they were. Ham had neither human or Divine love. The others had both and so considerations of the consequences did not matter. Our actions and words don't make our nature. They only express what is there, and God's tests are perfect to make us do this while blind to the consequences, whether of Good or Evil.
An Evil heart will justify every time. A Good heart can't do it; but will accuse it every time in spite of consequences. No man could by policy or method or wisdom, hide his heart nature when God tests. The test will be exactly suited to make manifest the nature. Shem and Japheth not only covered their father, but became the accusers of Ham, before they got the Blessing; and I notice this mark is where many fail, and leave themselves, as they think, neither sharing the Blessing nor the Curse. They try to be neutral - only to be still more tested - till they show what their heart nature is - and so we have seen many fall in the hole, trying to sit on both sides at one time. I suppose Noah's blessing and cursing of Ham and his brothers would be quite a test for those who might have been there. Had Noah any right either to Bless or Curse? Was a man in that condition fit to do it? Would Ham's rebuke have helped to keep his father straight in the future, or perhaps the other's actions would till the 3 sons were made manifest? Why did Noah not get drunk before he entered the Ark and make it manifest who Ham was? If he had been so long sober why get so drunk? Was Ham drunker than his father and more naked though he knew it not? But his brothers knew and his father also. Had Ham been drinking of the wine of her fornication which the Devil produces from the fruit of an evil heart, which revealed itself in an evil eye, tongue, feet and back? Can a man of God fail to detect these marks when seen in a man's actions and attitude? Can an evil heart recognize these things in himself? Would Ham have put up a big argument to his brothers to justify his actions only if there had been evil-hearted people to listen? But they happened to be all Godly, and saw, said and did and did not do was easily seen through and cursed and backed up by God. Supposed Ham had cursed his father for making such a mess of himself before the family. Would God have honored his words and would God ever honor him in all his activities no matter how big they were or how long continued? We can't blame Ham's wife; for she could only act with her husband. But she suffered just the same.
This might be worth taking a copy of for others who could benefit by it. Hope you are all well and hearty.

Those who thought I ceased to be their Father in the Gospel, and became their Brother as so many tried to make out, when they were tested, then those who have ceased to be my brother and apologize for not subscribing themselves, such as Jim, Eddie and quite a few others have done—surely are their own condemners…Their attempts to prove that I should not have a right to overlooking of the whole Ark is clear evidence of where they were.
Wm. Irvine's Letter To: Nobles, Liverpool, England
July 11, 1921

My Dear Walter:
Was glad to see yours. All the droughts, storms and signs of these days--and they are very many--are only the shadows to cause us to watch for the real things which are nigh, even at the door. The real drought does not begin till the two witnesses begin to prophecy. As we see Rev. 11:6, they have power to shut Heaven that it rain not during the days of their prophecy--3 1/2 years, or 1260 days. In verses 2 and 3 we have the months so given and the days, so as to save us from all the confusion between the Jewish and Gentile calendar. The Jews reckon by the Moon, the Gentiles by the Sun. This is the first 3 1/2 years spoken of in Rev. 13:5 as 42 months. You notice it is given in months as regard to the Gentile (English) treading down Jerusalem and the work of the four beasts of Daniel 7; the last 3 1/2 years is the reign of the Jewish Anti-Christ--given in Rev. 13:11-18.
The mark of the beast is the Jewish mark. This is the meaning of "666"- given in Rev. 13:18-- this is on Jewish literature today. Everything Zionist bears this mark. During the reign of the Anti-Christ, every man in business in Palestine will have this tattooed on his forehead or hand and will not be allowed to do business without it, showing the tyranny of the Jews when they get power.

In sending money, it is always legal and safe to send either by Postal order or per Register. Bradbury's are legal exchange all over the British Empire. All other notes are discounted for collection. The Post and Parcel Post are all working pretty safe and sure now in Palestine; but this will not continue long as we expect trouble both south and north of Palestine soon.
Daniel 11 is a record of the trouble which will arise thru Jews getting Palestine. Shows the Kingdom of Persia. You can see the extent of it in your Bible maps of Persia, out of which the 3 kings arise, backed up by one king, richer than all three. This is India, who stirs up all against Greece. The king of Great Dominion, who will stand up - is England; ending in the breaking up of the Empire.
Daniel 2:4 shows us the North and South rising, and then falling out over the Jews. Dan. 11:23 to end is the Jewish (little people) with their Anti-Christ. The last verse shows us his end, to bear the Kaiser, who built the palace on the glorious Holy Mountain of Olives, which is the highest point between the 2 seas, the Mediterranean and Dead Sea, from the top of which you can see both Seas. This indicates that the late war was like a type of what is coming, with the same end.
Dan. 10 shows us that Dan. 11 is connected with what befalls the Jews during the latter days. Tho' the vision was given long ago.
Rev. 12 is an outline of the conflict in the Testimony. The Woman, the chosen elact seed, who have the same head which made her possible--clothed witht he Sun, Love, Light and Power to help others; the Moon (with only light)--no love or power to change others, under her feet. Those who know the Trinity of God can know the difference between the SHINERS & GIVERS--AND THE RECEIVERS AND REFLECTORS.
On her head, a Crown of 12 stars, the only power and authority of the Bride, is Heavenly Power to lighten others. She being with child, bringing forth of the Manchild (the earthly body of the 2 witnesses of Rev. 11) - the other is John, from heaven.
Chapters 10 and 11. This shows the hidden hope of the Bride and the suffering in waiting for the deliverance which the Dragon laughs at and opposes--both Head and Tail; another wonder in Heaven (on earth.) The Kingdom of Heaven on earth is always the whole of the so-called professing people, as the Kingdom of God is only those in whom God dwells, and thru whom He works as seen in the Woman, who is clothed with the Sun.
Behold, those who have Eyes to see a (Great) the Greatest in their own eyes and man's eyes, as opposed to the Least in man's eyes, who are mentioned in Matt. 18 and are the test for the sheep and goats of Matt. 25. The least are typified by the Woman, -(RED) BLOOD--red in place of mercy White, --(Dragon) half an Ox and half serpent, professing to serve God, while inwardly possessed of the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, same as you find in all other religions of the world.
Many say the Testimony has become like all other sects, which is quite true and spiritual, the same Devil produces the same results no matter where you find him, and always outwardly pretending to serve God, outwardly before men, but inwardly of the Devil with 7 heads. God's work has generally only one head, as we see in Moses and all the true prophets and apostles, while their enemies in or out of the Testimony always have many heads. God's way is Theocracy--a man thru whom He speaks and works, producing a people and building a House. You can see this in Numbers 16; Norah, Dathan and Abiram and the 250 Princes of Israel who were made Princes by Moses and became men of renown-- famous in the congregation and set themselves up against Moses, as did the false prophets of every age, against the true anointed of God, whom they reject and cast out.
Twelve horns speaks about the power which false prophets had--horn power to scatter the sheep such as the 99 had when Jesus came to gather the outcasts of Israel. Seven crowns on the head, the recognition of men in place of the recognition of God, as the Woman had. You notice it says, "On his heads" in place of a CROWN on Her Head of 12 stars. Verse 4 says his tail (those who follow the Dragon's 7 heads)- drew a third part of the Stars of Heaven. Many that have little use for the 7 heads and their Horn power, and recognition from men, yet hold onto the tail-- and are cast down from walking in the light they have. They hold on to the Testimony for advantage, afraid to be cast out and rejected, and so cast down to the Earth, the same as if they had no light.
All stand before the Woman to devour the Manchild ready to be brought forth. This is the attitude of the whole Testimony, and explains so much attention given to me. Verse 5 is the answer to all their standing to devour. Verse 6 shows the provision and protection for the Bride, while the Dragon is being destroyed. Verse 7 explains the war in Heaven and Michael and his Angels fought against the Dragon, the Dragon and his angels fought and prevailed not--they fought to lose, we fight to win. Verse 9--THE END OF THE CONFICT. The Dragon made manifest as the Devil and Satan, cast out, and all who are of him and with him.
Verse 10. I heard a loud Voice in Heaven --very many have very weak voices today, except they be cries of pain as they long for the Day when the Child will be delivered. Now is come SALVATION AND STRENGTH. What they thought was GONE, returns in all its fullness. The Accusers had robbed us till we wonder whether we were saved at all, and the Kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ FOR -- because who had robbed us before God day and night, are cast down. They, the Bride, overcame by the Blood of the Lamb, by the word of their Testimony and being willing to suffer for it.
Verse 12, Therefore, REJOICE Ye Heavens and Ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the Earth and of the Seas, as the Devil is let loose on them to cause them to devour one another. When the heads begin to devour one another and blame each other for leading them the wrong way, and when the tail suffers because they were led to persecute rather than manifest the Love of God to others--surely there will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. What they devour the sheep with, they will devour one another, but those who put the Crown on the Head with the Horns will want to honor them in another way.
Wickedness is very sweet to unregenerate nature at the beginning, but very bitter at the end, when its power is taken away and when they can't fail to see the triumph of the Seed of God, whom they persecuted. How must the enemies of the Cross suffer as they saw the 3,000 and 5,000 become the followers of those they had persecuted. Their power and their glory GONE and only DARKNESS OF DEATH staring them in the face. Such will it be in a far bigger sense then in Jerusalem, as they see the Glory of the Kingdom come, and the destruction of the Kingdom of the earth going on around them by war, famine, and pestilence--which they cannot escape from, but all these things were hid from their eyes, because they would not let God work in them, or show His mercy by them to others.
This letter is worth being copied and sent to all who have given marks of being the Bride. The others you need not bother with, as it only stirs up the Head and Horns. You need get as busy as you can witnessing to the Blood of the Lamb and giving your testimony. Don't trouble what it will cost you. This only plays into the horns of your enemies, who really do you no harm. They have done their worst, so you need not fear them. So don't spare yourself, for the more you suffer, the better you will like it someday. Michael and his angels are all for you--if the Dragon and his angels are against you, and the hotter the fight, the surer the victory. These three marks I mention are all new to me--within the last 10 days. Dan. 11; the 666 mark of the Beast; the Woman and the Dragon in particular. It's wonderful how God uses even our enemies to open our eyes. All the above I owe to my enemies; while I had some light on them before, it was so weak it had little value or comfort. I hope you are well in touch with all who are counted worthy to be stood against in the Conflict that can only END ONE WAY.

My dear Alfie:
I was glad to have yours today. I think you would be unreasonable to expect me to make sure that my letters would be sure to reach those who have tried to be my friends. I write no one under any "personal" mark. They are all open and above board for both my enemies and friends. I have no private interpretation. If anybody has more light, I would be very glad to have it on any subject. The awkward part is that I have not met anybody for the past 28 years who seemed to have very much, inside or outside the Testimony.
I have noticed many who were better served by my light than their own darkness, and when they turned from it, as so many have done, they soon show what a mess they get into. That light has been steady and increasing all these 28 years, and those who choose to walk in the light of past years and reject the light of these past seven years will have much cause to rue it.
Paul's last seven years of light bearing was very different from the first 30 years, but it was more important and had far greater result, both to the bride and to those who were not the bride and did [not] know it. The Kingdom of Heaven includes all who are called. The Kingdom of God only those who are possessed of God, as the kingdom of the devil is the devil possessed.
Light never needs to hide behind "personal" letters. This mark has been found oftener on dog vomit or the ravenings of the wolf, than any other matter. I have got a great many lambastings these 28 years, but they were something like the mosquito trying to "lambast" the elephant. It takes a lot of literary lambasting to destroy one ray of God's light.
Your answers to the questions are like many other lambasters I have met; they had to assent to the truth behind them and then try to throw dust in the air by attacking the man who gave them what little light they had. Your innocence and ignorance of Daniel and Rev. and the signs of the times are all the product of your answer from God for your wickedness. If you can't see, it's the same reason behind it that Mrs. Guy, Fannie Davis and many others; and I accept it as a compliment when people say they can't see as I see when they have tried to do violence to a man who never gave them cause.
You and Alex* said once you had some light on Dan. 11. Now I had none til ten days ago. I will be glad if you give me what you have that I may see whether the light I have got for these days is the same sort you have got. It opened up very simple and clear quite unexpectedly and just in then nick of time. See if you get the key to it in Dan. An intellectual man should be able to find it without being very spiritual. Another thing new to me is the mark of the beast and his number 666. Quite simple and easy after many years of trying to get and give it.
All morning before getting your letter, I was being prompted to write and thank you for helping to open up another dark part by your words and works in California I refer to Rev. 12. It especially speaks abut the conflict in heaven and is probably similar to the conflict seen in the seven churches where Paul's children and right-hand men were to be found. Two Signs in Heaven and "signs" refer to what men can see with their eyes, else they would be no value to anybody. "Signs" are not put where men can't see but where they can't help seeing.
Ver. 1: There appeared a great wonder or sign in heaven, a woman, the bride, as known by her clothing. "Clothed with the sun," the Love, Light and Life of God, which John in his epistle refers to in opposition to the light which was darkness in those who had turned their backs on the sinner saints. The Moon under her feet. Only those who have known God working in them can see the difference between reflected light and that which comes from God dwelling in, and so are able to put such in their true place.
"Upon her head a crown of twelve stars." Whether I am the one head which made the bride body possible or not, I am quite conscious that I have more light in reading the apostolic message in the New Testament, or the prophets message in the Old Testament than all my friends, helpers, hinderers and traducers, not to speak of the "Lambasters," put together. So I may be the head of the bride after all, in spite of those who hate to think it possible, and what God gives no man can steal, no matter how much misplaced it may seem to be in his eyes.
The woman, head and all, is in great trouble and cries in pain to be delivered of the man child, who she is very conscious of being the end of all her suffering and the beginning of the realization of all her hopes. This has been the cause for the suffering of the woman, head and all, and quite a new experience for the bride, but a necessity of the "latter days," which you believe in, but in a very vague and indefinite sense similar to that of the whole religious world of today, for they are compelled to recognize it, in spite of all their desire to retain their present glory which is of the god of this world.
Which reminds me of "they," the wicked seed on the earth who are interested in "Peace and Safety," rather than their destruction from the earth, which gives me great comfort and is the crowning of what I have preached for 28 years to the outside wicked in the Kingdom of Heaven. This includes the League of nations and all else.
Mrs. Guy's foolishness and presumption in making herself out to be the woman helped me to see more clearly who the woman is, and what and why her position, condition and suffering. Your last letter contending for the many heads and which you try to justify from Matt 10 was the means of drawing my attention to the Dragon . I had heard before of your attempt to prove that my position in the Testimony; but no Wm. Irvine, there would have been no need for people to claim headship. The headship which comes from God and those who put up claims of equality with those by whom God produced them are clearly seen all through the Book.
Moses made 250 heads or princes, but God made Moses the head for all, and their conceit is seen in them trying to put Moses on their own level, and so we don't wonder at the same devil passing in the same lic [sic] today. Paul and Peter and John were heads of the work God did by them, and all attempts to usurp their place or dishonor it, no matter what excuse men thought they had, ended in death and disaster. There were many heads sprung up in the work Paul had done, but [the] few who remained faithful to Paul were the only ones who had recognition from God. And you will find it the same again.
Ver 3: A GREAT RED DRAGON with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads is the opposite sign seen in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. The greatness of my enemies and my friends' enemies is very striking. Many mice became men, and nobodies became somebodies when the real head disappeared from their midst in God's purpose and plan.
"Red" refers to their blood shedding unforgiving, accusing and persecuting and killing qualities. You tasted a little of this from them because they did not believe in your anointing, and many others about 600 in all, have suffered. DRAGON is the big profession of sacrifice and service to God (the ox part) with the serpent tail which simply means doing God's work before men by the power of the devil as God sees it.
"Seven heads" is just in opposition to the one Head You can have as many heads as you want to on the Dragon and you may have the crowns of authority given by men on all or each of them. It's only the head of A GREAT RED BRUTE BEAST made to be taken and destroyed as II Peter 2:12 shows us. They all speak evil of things they understand not, and shall utterly perish in their own corruption as did the false prophets who, like the dog, returned to their vomit and the sows, who were washed, to their wallowing in the mire.
Nothing Paul or Peter had been able to say or do could change their nature though they had changed their outward appearance The ten horns shows their power of offence and defence to be perfect, but with all their great Red Dragon's seven heads and ten horns and crowns on them, it was only a big devouring brute which was made to be destroyed.
The small toe of the woman clothed with the sun, was value for a million tons of the brute, and one star on her head was more than a match for all the brute's boasted strength and authority and power.
There are some who have suffered for believing that I am the One head and the hope for the future, and who have never had a letter from me, and who have found it out very much by the little experience they had of me and those who are the heads with horns. They tasted my tyranny and also a little of the other and they have no doubt abut the difference and they are not in California
One third of the stars of heaven were drawn, not by the horns and heads, but by the TAIL of the big beast. Many became victims to their own converts being in the Testimony and so were cast down to the earth. I don't know whether you come in here or not, I suspect you do. The tail end is more deceitful than the other end. I know quite a few in the Testimony today who have little use of the seven heads, but who still hang onto the tail because their hope of getting to eat lies there.
The whole dragon stood before the woman whose whole equipment for head and body was LIGHT, which was God-given, rather than reflected. And their whole activities are centered on devouring the man child as soon as it was brought forth. "And she brought forth the man child which was to rule all nations with a rod of iron, and her child was caught up to God and to His throne," showing how little harm the dragon could do, or how little they could hinder God's purpose being fulfilled as revealed in Rev. 11. And the woman fled into the wilderness, (because the judments were coming on the wicked), where she hath a place prepared by God where they should feed her for three and a half years.
You may set yourself up as a judge over other men's faith, and ridicule and oppose those who are seeking to prepare a place where they could flee to in time of trouble and have some chance of something to eat. A place prepared of God does not necessarily mean that God did not move man to help in the preparation. The God who honored the widow's cruse of oil and barrel of meal is not dead, and we can still be sure that if God used Noah to prepare for the flood days, He is not dishonoring those who seek to prepare for the days of the Son of Man, and I will risk all I have on those who see what is coming and prepare as far as they can against those who oppose and speak evil of those who prepare.
I would be very much afraid to find one person who had the marks of the woman clothed with light and suffering in bringing forth the man child, against me, but I notice that my enemies not only lack Love, Life and Light, but have the desire to add to my affliction as much as lieth in them.
But the woman and her Head and her child were not one bit afraid of the big beast, or its horns, heads, crowns and tail. It was all the same stuff. Big, Red, Unregenerate Flesh made to be taken and destroyed after thoroughly made manifest. Michael and his angels fought, and the dragon and his angels fought but prevailed not. And I notice that they have no power to hinder the power of Love, Life and Light, and the battle is being won all over the field of conflict these days.
It was in the Providence of God that the Schultze family should come to California and become the test of your activities. Naturally all his human sympathies would be with you and for you in the conflict, and you had the best possible chance of having him take your part, if it could be taken, and I have waited patiently to see his unbiased choice and would not try in any way to influence him.
The gathering of those around you shows wickedness I had tested and proved, and the losing of one of your best friends is quite God like in its revelation of heart conditions, and I am satisfied with the choice, and recognize that your going to California was only another step in the march of events that can only end in victory for the man you thought to make your victim. I did all I could to save your friends from the wickedness, of which they made many confessions I did nothing to cause the Schultze's to lose confidence in you and the verdict is against you, as far as I can see.
Your reference to my inability to answer questions satisfactorily from the platform is best answered by very few ever trying to make clear what I failed to do. In my absence they might try to imitate, but in my presence they knew who was master of the situation.
Regarding Frank Scott, I knew from the beginning everything was against him, in that he allowed me to pay 20 pounds to his father as a debt change which he made to compel Frank to go home after being out in the work for two months before convention. I gave him the choice of going home to pay it, or go and preach and I would pay it. And he did the choosing. My business was to give him the chance if he could take it, but like many more, he was cheaply bought, and so I had the key to his character and was not disappointed in him, or a great many others whom I had measured.
God enabled me to take the number of most of them, and my heart impressions have all come true, much more so than I could have expected, and their fear of me was because they knew I had their number, and the proof of a God like heart was seen in the opportunity I gave them both in privilege to get to know God and also to give them a chance to make manifest what they had not got.
When the whole dragon seed is made manifest to be that old serpent, the devil, and Satan who deceiveth the whole world, and are cast out of heaven, I will be enjoying not only the greatest privileges of the everlasting Gospel in salvation and strength, while they are cast out to be destroyed by the judgments of God for their wickedness and pride. Then they will be sure that a prophet was amongst them though they knew it not.
When Scotchmen are found shot through the heart, the hole is found in their vest where it ought to be. Paddy was shot through the heart but the bullet hole was found in his pants and on the wrong side of the man. The North of Ireland owes its success today to the Scotchmen who went over to Ireland to help the Protestant cause when it was in danger, and you will find them scattered through every part of the six counties, so I would not think it very wise to throw national bricks lest you strike some of your own blood.
I have nothing against the Irish race but the world's opinion would generally be found on the Scotch side of the argument. When I found you a year and a half ago, your heart was down where Paddy's was when he was shot, and I did what I could to help you, and if you forget that, it's only a symptom of the disease which afflicts humanity

Wm. Irvine's Letter To: Fred Hanowell
August 17, 1921
My dear Bro.
Was glad to see your letter.
God made me the first head of the family. He did the calling by me, and now these past seven years he is doing the choosing, for many are called, few chosen. It was so wonderful, both in numbers who heard, the numbers who professed, the numbers of workers, the ground covered with the clearness of the truth as it is in Jesus.
But the end of the Jesus way is to choose his bride from among those who have had all these privileges, and it's wonderful how few prove by their actions that they have been born of God, and made partakers of his nature, which expresses it in Love, Light and Light, such as we see revealed in Jesus.
If you can understand Revelations 12, you can understand the whole conflict, which is going on in The Testimony.
The woman clothed with the sun, or the proof of God working in them, this is the bride or chosen, the moon under her feet; simply means recognizing those who shine by the light gotten through others, without ever having been sealed of God. If you take away all that God taught both workers and saints through my lips and life, there is not much left. My presence used to make most of them very small, because they knew and I knew they were only repeating what they had heard with little evidence of God in them or with them. A crown of stars on her head. I often wonder how people can be so blind to all that's been going on these past seven years, and the meaning of it all, when it was so clear and plain to me. But I don't anymore as I recognise God gives a crown of stars to the head of the bride. While the rejected of God seek to place a crown of thorns there.
The woman cries travailing in pain and pained to be delivered. This is point of the whole conflict. The bringing forth of the man child who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron. As one of the Witnesses of Revelations 11, this is not far off, now and will settle the whole controversy and put an end and to all the claims of all those who set themselves up as Apostles and Prophets.
The dragon with seven heads is those who sat themselves up as leaders of The Testimony and use their horns of authority to hurt others and are claimed by men as leaders. Whose chief work is to resist and gainsay all that the woman or bride see and say, as if they could hinder God's purpose...this is enough to enable you to see the whole conflict, and if you are part of the bride, the Spirit will give you enough light to deliver you from the power of the greatest set of robbers in the world history, who thought they could rob me and those of what God had given them.
If you are a part of the dragon, nothing can help you. But the day when they will taste of the reward of their wickedness, then they will weep and wail and gnash their teeth, and the blind will have proved that following the blind leaders ends in the ditch.
Paul was the head which did the calling and was the head which did the choosing the seven years he was in jail. The stone which the builders rejected is always the one which God has chosen as the head of the corner. Those who fall on it or become with the rejected shall be broken or made to suffer. But those on whom it shall fall or who are guilty of the done and rejected, it shall grind him to powder, and as you see in the finish of all the Apostles and Prophets lives who were of God.

My dear Friends:
For nearly 28 yrs. wherever I’ve gone & whatever I've been, there followed those who have been anxious to show that I was a dangerous man, a sinner, a heretic, a blasphemer, a mover of sedition. The motive was always some form of selfishness, or self interest in wanting to get power over the people. They were seeking their own & not things that are Jesus Christs. There are many sorts of them, of every color & texture but all bore the same marks. some clerical some anti-clerical.
This same treatment was given to many who only repeated the words (often the very tones they had heard). I had not much time to take notice of them, I was always found fault with, criticised & condemned but wherever honest hearts heard even the repetition of my words, they gripped and held them, & compelled men to see that Jesus was, & is The Way, The Truth, & the Life.
The only justification I ever had in the midst of much condemnation,
abuse & rejection, & persecution, was that God always used it to
open my ears & eyes & mouth to say & see more of His Truth
& mind, making my heart gladder for the truth, Love & Mercy He
showed me. I never courted the friendship or favour with men, nor
feared their frown. or listened to their whinings or whimperings around
me when they were fearful. God Called & Men Heard, & that was the
only answer men ever heard.
At the end of 28 yrs. many were called all
over the English speaking world & every place my feet have touched,
the testimony took root and began to grow. I had many helpers of all kinds,
was much loved, (& overloved by the sister) (& before any man passes
any opinion let him first get the place where I was, lest he be speaking
in his innocence & ignorance, a man does not take fire in the river,
or when a piece of ice is applied to his back but try a hot coal!). The
anointing of God that makes a man useful to his fellows will bring more
temptation from religious women than all the other things in the world;
just as surely will the wicked spirit in men (which makes them always holy
and ready to accuse) drive women into the corner afraid.
The greatest compliment George Walker & those with him could pay me as a man is that, with all the difficulties and temptations I had from many (who proved to be goats, hogs, dogs, & wolves) I had enough of the anointing of God to be a blessing to all, and to build strong, safe, & substantial Temple for God, (which they can turn into a den of thieves if they choose, or make a devils Zoo out of it). It was a hard long battle keeping all sorts of dogs, wolves, & goats, & hogs from harrying & disturbing the sheep, and my shepherd club had to be liberally used. The greatest testimony to the wondrous grace & mercy of God was, that the man who became the greatest sinner (for it is well to remember that all the workers are sinners and some of the best a good second to me!) is that in spite of a man’s sins, the Lord can anoint him, and use him to bless others.
The only outstanding feature of what has happened is the fact that God was with my mouth more than any, or all others, so much so that in kindness to others I stayed away from the meetings to give them a chance, for they very often knew that I knew where the words came from (for they were seldom from God) and the holier the worker was, the less of God you could generally expect.
I did not know then that pride and iniquity always bears the mark of superiority (in men’s eyes) but I know now wickedness and the wicked one, always have power to appeal to the eyes and ears of men but never by the voice of God. THIS IS THE ONLY THING THEY CAN NEVER HAVE & God will not speak through wicked lips, and most people can only know the difference when they hear the voice of God and the voice of man; if you take away the anointed of God, people soon forget they ever heard the voice of God.
This is the reason the wolves in sheep’s clothing feared my presence so much for they know that God speaking thru a man puts an end to all their wolf-in sheep’s clothing tricks, & exposes the hypocrisy of all their wickedness. You can fool the people, but you cannot fool God. God looketh on the heart, men on outward appearance.
For 2 yrs., God thru my lips could make the whole zoo tremble & it was good for them, for they dared not do the things they have done to one another the last seven years. Turn the truth on George Walker & his actions to Alfie McGowan & many others, both saints a servants, & George would rather the earth open & swallow him up.
George & Jim (in sheep’s clothing that never grew on them) ravening & devouring me in Pendleton while I sit in Jerusalem, would not do it if I was near, distance keeps them safe. If I was in the meeting now, you would see them try to get away as far as possible for God is more than a match for the Devil face to face --- & so the seed of the serpent always do its work behind your back. There is no man living or dead (anointed or unanointed) you can speak evil of & NOT FIND MUCH GROUND FOR IT, except JESUS & when we find people in God's name bringing up what God has cast into the sea of His forgetfulness & (covered it with the blood of His Son) we don't hesitate to say that it is the spirit of the wicked one & when we find it done to get power over the sheep God has not given them, we put it down to the same source like all other priest-craft of sheep stealers & sheep devourers.
In order to get the sheep, they must get rid of the shepherds to whom God gave the sheep, and of those He placed as the porter shepherd. Many men have found fault with me, and have tried to take my place, but God has taken care of that. They can get all the Zoo, but neither a shepherd or a sheep will ever forget the man or men through whom God spoke the words that made them sheep. They are few, and the zoo many but the sheep abide true to the shepherd God gave them.
This is the reason that in the choosing out of the bride from the many who are called, it is necessary for the shepherd to be smitten. It is by smiting the shepherd the sheep are scattered and the zoo is gathered. Every shepherd who ever had a flock had also gathered many who were not sheep. See all the prophets and apostles in the day of their being given over into the hands of wicked and cruel men, in order that the wolves, dogs, hogs, and goats might have a chance of showing their nature, & thereby be fitted for judgment. Just as the sheep will learn to love and value the shepherd through his absence the more. This is the work of the last 7 years and the cause for my becoming a sinner (as in the case of many of Gods anointed men in the past).
Jesus fed His sheep when almost every ear and door were shut against Him. The prophets and apostles fed the sheep God had given them (when the true church they had gathered by the gospel had rejected them and left them to perish). This is the reason we have the Psalms of David, the prophets and the epistles. They were not preserved by those who had become their enemies in the day of their rejection. If George Walker had lived in David’s day and David had written a Psalm and sent it to him--the 23rd Psalm say--and told him it was written by a man who killed a Captain in his army, and stole his wife and she was now sharing his home and his honour as the anointed of God, what would he have said or done? The world would never have heard the sweetest and best of David’s Psalms, but for the sheep. How could the zoo have read such terrible things as David said about them?
Suppose Diotrephes had been sent the Epistles, or Gospel, or Revelation of John the apostle, would they have ever been seen or heard of? NEVER.
He who love the pre-eminence God had not given him, would have burnt them, and refuse to let others see or read them.
Of course if you are of the Zoo & want to bark & bite, swelter in filth & grunt, or climb & horn like a goat, or raven like a wolf you would say it is alright why should we listen to a man whom the whole church rejects (except a few who can't do without him). The sheep feels the need of a shepherd. The child feels the need of a father & so we know the sheep & the children from the Zoo & the bastard who has got the name, but not the nature.
I want to say plainly that if any man comes in to separate between you & those God spoke thru you to for salvation & deliverance, & by who you got the sincere milk of the word, He is of the Devil, & is turning the hearts of the children from their parents & the proof that you are sheep and children is that you will stick to the man who was so honoured of God. If you are of the devils Zoo, then you can do anything you like, & so will God.
Regarding my relationship to those with me, outside the camp, I had not seen or heard of them for 6 yrs. & when I found that God had been revealing many things to them, our hearts & pens became knit together & George Walker or any other man (pope included) to dictate to another about who he should love or hate, is only proof of their shining devilry, & for you or anybody to try to justify that, is to brand yourself with Cain's mark so don't be fooled. It’s not George Walker who is Judge by the anointing of God.
Regarding my prophesy you call false, Noah's prophecy was false in the eyes of some for 120 yrs. but the waters covered them, if not convinced them. I may have been to blame for casting pearls before swine, but we can't be sure till we have given them a chance of seeing what they will do with what has cost me 27 yrs. of hard labour & much suffering-- my sin included, that I might be able to see these things they trample under foot & turn and rend me, as you have seen and heard at Pendleton (Indiana USA Convention). Goats will be goats because they are not sheep. Dogs will be dogs, Wolves will be wolves in spite of wool over their teeth & swine will be swine.
They can't help it, & all we can do is to give a little comfort to the sheep who don't feel very much at home in a menagerie - - AND THE SHEPHERD IS SMI'I'TEN THAT THEY MAY ALL BE MANIFESTED.
You need not worry. We won't have long to wait, even tho the League of Nations is 1-1/2 yrs. behind its promise. Paul’s promise and mine is when they shall say PEACE & SAFETY, THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMETH ON THEM & THEY SHALL NOT ESCAPE. So you can trample & rend all you want. If you are wise you will prove your anointing by reading and understanding the words of the prophesy of Rev; & so assure your hearts against fear that will come--even if all the world said there would be no danger. It is better to be sure than sorry.
NOAH’S faith seemed very foolish for 120 yrs. but it was very wise in 24 hours after the rain came. Don't forget that the same devil who fooled the sons of God and the daughters of men then so that they went on speaking evil and doing violence to others, till they were all taken away, out of the road, that the anointed of God, might be unhindered is doing the same today. Very few would have fellowship with Noah, & so there were only 8 in the Ark, but God was on that side of the door.

My dear Minnie and Co.:
I was glad to hear from you today. It's much easier to reply to letters than to write without them. It's nice to be busy, specially when you are young and more specially when there is danger of being fat, which is an indication that we were meant for plenty of hard muscular work. The I.W.W. were one of the signs of the times and the reading of it in the popular sense - "I won't work" - is the truest reading. God said man has to labour 6 days and do all his work in the sweat of his face. Apply this to the world today and you can see what a revolt the Devil has brought about. No doubt the employer has given plenty of occasion on his side, but the disease is world wide. People have got to the place where they substitute any other thing for labour 6 days in the sweat of their face. God could have fed them as He did in the wilderness but then they would not have had the discipline and experience or been perfected as they have been. You see more misapplied energy today than in any other age, and it all pretends to be for the advancement of the race, when it is for its destruction. This is the scorpion poison that's being injected by everybody -- what makes them forget what God thinks, and so after any other fool thing.
If your mother had left nothing more behind than the testimony you bore to her life of hard work - it would go a very long way to prove that God was in her. God works 7 days in the week in serving all creation and this is one of the reasons for its existence, for what can love, light & life be if it's not active, and He hates all that is opposed to the exercise of this Love, light and life. Even the "God of Patience, Hope & Peace" reminds us that it can only be had by ceaseless activity of God but it gives us some idea of what He is working for. Patience, is simply taking no stock in all that hinder His purpose, nor miss His plan - no matter how many perish - it don't hinder or thwart His eternal purpose. Hope is the result of the consciousness that His eternal will & work will be realized. Peace is the atmosphere in which He can work.
He keeps His tools in order and His plans clear. Because all comes from God, all must work toward making us God-like, -else we fail. If the material & results are defective, it only means putting new clay on the wheel and making another. The Devil's short cut in doing this work reveals his short sighted selfishness. Iniquity is only work- in so that God's nature & likeness cannot be perfected in us. Wickedness is the work that can never make us like Jesus or God, neither in nature or work, and so though it pleases the eyes of men, it can never fit us for loving & giving as John 3:16 tells us He did, and so must perish. What good is it that we should name His name, if we can't stand the little earthly test of doing to others on the earth what He had done from Heaven. To do to others what we would not like done to us, is iniquity and wickedness.
To do to others what we would like done to us - is mercy and righteousness. To be drowning in the water or burning in the building should be the truest test for those who would be lifesavers or firemen, and the work we may have done in training others for such work, could not be better tested than by falling into the fire and see what those you have trained would do for you after all your attempts to teach them what to do, and the treatment you receive would be a good way of choosing those who are fit for service. And this is exactly God's way of testing the work that men profess to do or have done in them. If men's profession prompted by what should be of human love & gratitude for service rendered coupled with a loud profession and great privilege can only produce the cry of "save yourself," with the appropriation of all God has given you.
Surely men are made manifest or turned inside out so that you can see who they are. The cry of the thief on the Cross, "Save thyself and us," is the cry from a wicked heart, & Jesus gave no heed to it. The cry of the sinner thief of "Lord remember me when thou comest into thy Kingdom," shows that he recognized what the "body of this death" means and how little hope there can be in ourselves apart from the God Man and the God Nature. The cry of Jesus - "It is finished" - the work of manifesting what is the essence & Nature of God, Man and Devil, and when the work is fully and finally finished there will be the 3 manifestations, - God on His Throne, conquerer, - Sinner with Him by His Grace, - Saints. The wicked who refused His Grace and therefore had none to give. "He saved others, Himself He cannot save," came from the wicked hearts around the Cross.
They knew nothing of being willing to lose their life in saving others. Jonah and his crew of the boat bear the same marks. The storm made them cry on their God to save them. Jonah was willing to be cast into the sea in order to save them. They found the shore and smooth water which every time is the quest of all who have not been made partakers of the Divine Nature. They saved their own lives, but could not save others. They washed their hands of His blood in prayer of "Lay not this man's blood to our charge," showing how anxious they were about their own selfrighteousness, while Jonah was going down to the foundations of the world, and crying out of the belly of Hell, but it was the way to Ninevah and for its salvation.
If Jonah had stayed in the ship, where would Ninevah have been found? "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is Death." There is a way that seemeth wrong to a man, but the end thereof is Life and Peace. The storm of God is still the way of separating between the selfsavers & the selfsacrificers. The storm came - the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell not, because it was or was not founded on a Rock. "They that regard lying vanities forsake even their own mercy," was Jonah's comment before he was delivered out of the belly of the whale.
The son that God gave Abram - by the power of God - Abram was willing to give back to God by the stroke of his own right hand. The storm beat on the house but it fell not. The goat in the thicket would not have been available if God had not found in Abram's heart the sacrificing spirit. God's sacrifice for us will be of little use to us, if He sees not in our heart the sacrificing spirit, which would give what He has given us - in seeking to please Him for others. It would not be too great a test to do to others what we expect God to do for us. This is the supreme test of our profession and obedience. To those who God has wrought in, it's a jdelight and joy and the source of our full assurance, and being called, chosen and faithful. To those who have not the Nature of God - it's impossible. With God (in us) all things are possible. Without God these things are impossible.
Who can forgive sins but God only. Who amongst men can forgive sins (without God in them). The greatest joy the heart of God has - is not in forgiving us - but in seeing us forgive as He forgives, for here we have the evidence not only of being forgiving, but in being made partakers of His own Nature, and so sons and heirs of all that He is and has. To believe that Jesus died for our sins, and so fail to recognize the same for all sin, is to show we lack the Love, Light and Life of God.
The greatest mercy that God can show to such deluded people, is to give them positive evidence out of their own mouths & by their actions, that they not only lack His Nature, but are possessed of the nature which is so clearly revealed in the Devil & all his seed - that of being accusers, condemners, despisers & persecuters of their own flesh and blood.
The 1st 3 chapters of Rev. is a beautiful illustration of how God prepares on the earth those whom we read of in the last 3 chap. who are to rise at the 1st Resurrection, and who are to come from Heaven as a Bride adorned for the Bridegroom. The lonely man in Patmos suffering tribulation at the hands of the Church & world, with the comfort of Rev. of God for the lonely Saints in the Church who are the overcomers of the wicked one and still have ears to hear what the Spirit saith to the Churches from outside in Patmos.
This is a wonderful key to the whole Book, and explains why the True Bride will say from their hearts, "Even so come Lord Jesus, come quickly as Thou hast revealed." One can see how impatient the Saints in Heaven are, and how much joy & song there is in the 15th & 19th chapters. The end of Rev. 6 & 16 shows how thoroughly the Great of the earth will be convinced bye and bye that "the great Day of the Wrath of the Lamb has come and who shall be able to stand," - and yet when hailstones are destroying the few who are left they will blaspheme and say it's the Devil who is destroying them by earthquake and hailstones. You notice today how many refuse to believe that all these judgments on the earth are produced by the Lord in answer to the cry of the Saints in Heaven. They don't believe that the vengeance of the Lord is surer than any thing on earth. His wrath on the wicked is only as hot as His love for the sinner. If men have seen the love of God to sinners, and then begin to show wrath to sinners in the name of God, how terrible is the delusion, and nothing but the wrath of God destroying such from the earth, and delivering their victims can possibly fulfill His Mercy that endureth forever.
Contrast Rev. 4, The Lord on His Throne in Heaven as Creator; with the 4th last chapter of Rev. as you find it in the 19th, where you see Him leave His Throne in triumph to finish the work on earth which He began in Heaven. Notice the contrast between the 5th chap. and the 18th. Chap. 5 gives you the Lamb opening the Book - in contrast with Babylon the habitation of Devils, the hold of every foul spirit and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Chap. 5 is full of glory and praise to the Lamb who was slain. Chap.18 is full of wrath expressed in death, mourning and famine. This speaks of the overthrow of Jerusalem and the cities of the nations by earthquake, fire and hail.
Chap. 6 contrasts well with Chap. 17, the victory of the Bride in producing (with the Bridegroom) the conditions that are to overthrow the Whore & her royal fornicator lovers. Contrast chap. 7, the sealing of His own in their foreheads - or the putting into their minds His own thoughts and purposes, - with ch. 16, the sealing of the different classes of wicked by plagues.
Ch. 8, the war chapter, contrasts good with the joy of Heaven in seeing the judgments made manifest when they sing the song of Moses and the Lamb, showing that Moses' story & victory over the Egyptians is to guide us in what to expect in these days of the Lamb -- the mourning of earth because of the war, - the Joy of Heaven because of the war.
Contrast Rev. 9, the 1st and 2nd Woe with the triumph of the Gospel in Rev.14; the opening of the bottomless pit led by the Devil producing world wide religious war, ending in the destruction of 1/3 part of the men who dwell on the earth, - in contrast with a Lamb on Mt. Zion with 144,000 who go forth with the Everlasting Gospel bearing witness against Babylon, in place of an awful slaughter by world wide religious war.
The Message is - "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth" - showing that all such will come back to reign with Him though they may suffer martyrdom. I expect the two witnesses will be the first two martyrs and the sign of the beginning of persecution by Babylon when the Anti-christ comes into power.
Chapter 10. The proclamation of the end of the age, and the opening of the Book in contrast to the revelation of the last great world beast and the Anti-christ which closes the record of the wicked reign on the earth. 10 is the closing manifestation of the Gospel age; 13 is the closing manifestation of the world age. In Ch. 11 you have the Gospel triumph in the 1st and 2nd Woe by the 2 witnesses and their seed. Rev. 12 shows you the making manifest the Power of the Kingdom of God and that of the Great Red Dragon, what the Spirit of God is producing in contrast with what the Spirit of the God of this world is producing during the last 2 Woes, with the triumph on God's side every time, as it should be.
This is mostly fresh to me tonight, and I hope you will be able to get it clear in your mind, for I have enjoyed it very much. I'm glad to hear of your Father's 76th Birthday, and wish him many more, and especially the next 7 when I hope he will see enough to clear away all the cobwebs of unbelief from all who have been honest enough to have doubts about all that has passed for Xtianity in the last days of the wicked age in which we have lived. I have not a shadow of a doubt but that those who have made no profession will welcome the clear ringing testimony of the 2 witnesses, and will enter in when the "children of the Kingdom" will shut themselves out again as they did when Jesus came at the beginning of the age. The Parables of the Kingdom in Matt. 20 to 25 all show that this will take place.
It will be taken from the wicked who have been the custodians and given to another who will bring forth the fruit. It was taken from the Jew and given to the Gentile; now it will be given to the Jew and the uttermost ends of the earth - the Heathen or to the whole nations of the earth. I'm glad that Walter could recognize my shadow, thinner maybe, but normal in weight after being so abnormally fat. I notice many putting on flesh since they began to have more feed. You don't eat so much when you cook for yourself, and the washing up helps reduce flesh, but I'm in good shape and have my little paper room in better shape for this winter, so hope to get through comfortably.
I seldom sleep till 2 A.M. and seldom get up till 9 A.M. I have 3 cats and 1 dog to feed and keep in order, with a great many other little cares that fill up my time quite full so that I don't weary a minute. We had 7 Jews killed, 30 wounded, 1 Arab killed and we don't know how many wounded, as they did not tell the numbers for reasons of their own. This was the celebration of the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration four years ago on the 2nd of November.
Elizabeth was always very much delighted with the last good time she had, either a feed for mind and body, or a ride in a car. She had the hog mark in all she did. It was what she could get rather than give that always counted. If all the people were in The Testimony who are now out of it, it would not change the fact that we are now in the judgment days 7 years, and soon to enter the last 7, and the most fateful of all the world's history.
I'm certain the Hogs, Dogs, Goats and Wolves don't know anything or want to know anything so long as they can get enough for their appetites. You can see the howl they are making in Russia now because the Trough is empty, and I expect the others will all begin to wake up only when they bite the trough in place of the plenty they have always been in the habit of getting.
When Elizabeth recognizes Will -- Will recognize Elizabeth and they both howl. Will's flesh had more power over May than his spirit when he came to Berkeley that time, and May knew I saw and noticed it too. You did not mention Mr. Guy or her sister - I'm very sorry for them, but they were both foolish and wicked in their attitude - like Alfie & Co. I'm quite sure Joe and Sarah will enjoy both the job and the fellowship very highly. I hope you are able to get the best of what's in this letter , and pass it on to others.

My Dear Joe and Sarah a. Geo;
I was glad to have yours yesterday. A good story is never the worse for being told twice over. It’s very often the other story that’s considered worth repeating.
I'm sure it will be a great comfort for you to have a job, when so many are idle - with, nothing to do but grumble, The ingratitude of the race surely demands that they should get a little to grumble at seeing they have, long developed the habit. People have forgotten all about “Six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work,” and now it’s a matter of grumble, complain and blame every body but themselves, They blame the Gov. the Capitalist, the Sermons the Allies, the Union, but never a word about the most responsible person, the "I, myself." During the past 20 years I was sure something would happen to cure what I recognised wan a disease far deeper than any industrial trouble, and now we see the cure being applied with vengeance,
The world was too well off and did not know it in 1914. They were like over fed animals, it only made them Kick, now they have something to kick about, and it will only use up their strength and feed them the fruit of their Kicks. Those who were best treated kicked most and many who had most to kick about, kicked least and often had most gratitude for the little they did have.
It would be foolish to road the Old Testament and not recognise that these same conditions in the Old T. days always met with the same cure. For what God gave to the Jews was like a lesson for the whole world and for all time. This was the value of the Jews and their history, both for men and nations. The story of the Judges, Kings and Chronicles is just one long record of people waxing fat and kicking.. Then God brought in their enemies on them, just in the way the trouble had risen amongst themselves - Till the people repented, then He delivered them by a deliverer.
When God was honoured in Israel, or by one person, they had no fear of the nations around them. When He was dishonoured, the people did not know, but these who were of God always warned them and if they heard not, or heard, God dealt with them accord¬ing to their heart condition and relationship to Him, and it was always reflected in their attitude towards one another and specially the weak a unprotected.
Our own experience "of the world" was that there was little room for God or the things of God and the more religious men were the more were they opposed to any attempt to put their traditional, hypocrisy right. The Jesus way was a stink in their nostrils and more or less a burden to most of those who professed to accept it.
The wickedness of the world had to be held in by bit and bridle of force, just as The Testimony needed a Rod to keep wickedness in its place. The past 7 years has given them a good chance to break the bonds and cast away the cords the Lord had put on nations and men and now they are all having a fair, chance of showing what they were in their hearts and you see what a mess they have made.
On 1st January, 1893, I felt very tired and sick of all the world had given me and thought of ending it all by Death alone in my own home. I had turned away from the Theatre door that night after having entertained a No. of my young friends at the Pantomimes all day.
On the 8th of January, 1893, 1st day of my 31st year I decided for the Lord quite unexpectedly and in a way that was quite foreign to any of my plans or calculations.
A week later I confessed it openly to the men over whom I was task master and then began the battle that ended in me clearing out of all I had lived for, for 20 years. And on the 1st November I stepped out of what had been my home, with a sense of relief and went to Bible Training Institution in Glasgow to stay at home with my folks expecting to help them Spiritually. Then began the Spiritual conflict that revealed the power of what I had done in reaching others and awakening the opposition of the Religious people, who were glad to see me professing, but who as thoroughly made me feel a Sinner for having given up a good position in life.
Those 10 months after I decided were times of great Joy and Sorrow and absolutely no help. I found the same thing in Bible Training Institute where I was kept outside the circle and the same in Religious circles. As I opened my mouth the Lord filled it and made friends and enemies.
In July, 1895 I joined the Faith Mission and I found myself very much the same, in the outer circle. Finally I was put out because I was not of them and (not) willing for all their discipline, which I felt was not of God or according to the Book.
Later I was put out by the church I had formed in Kilsyth, my own town, during my stay at home. This was when I went to U.S.A. first. On 1st January, I found myself in Ennis, Co. Clare the darkest and hottest spot in the world for Romanism where there were only 2% Protestant and 98% Catholic, where most of the Irish Priests come from and where the present trouble in Ireland has been worst. I spent 8 months there and in Co. Kerry and crossed from Nenagh after a very good mission where the Carrolls professed in Sept. and came back to Rathmolyon in beginning of Oct. for 3 weeks mission in Oct.
So that its 23 years now since I was in Meath and the trouble in Trim took place on the 3rd or 4th and the same paper said the official end of the war would be on 31st October. It’s not possible to watch all the little things which are included, but we can see enough to give us hope and cheer as well as some light on the dark days we live in.
I can see enough parallelism in the months of January to November in 1893 - then repeated in January to November in 1897 in (Counties) Clare, Trim, Kerry, Tipperary and Meath and now repeated again in Jerusalem, as I see the work of Judgment in Ireland following the exact same lines. And also the same going on in the whole world.
I resigned my position in September, 1893.
I was put out of Faith Mission September, 1897.
I was put out of Church Fellowship Kilsyth, September, 1900.
I'm not quite sure what year I went to U.S.A. but it was just after 1st Convention at Rathmolyon,
Willie can tell me perhaps better as it was next year that he professed.

I crossed the Atlantic in 1914, leaving the same day 5th Sept., I had first crossed it to U.S.A., this time rejected by The Testimony. So I must be a bad stick, or something else. I have noticed all along that they always did more harm to themselves than they did to me.
Now I hope you have good time and God guiding you in all your movings. Don't forget the Gospel days ahead. I think if you and Willie send Alfie Magowan a few Dollars it will encourage his heart. I'm not sure how they fare. But I feel that way about it and feel he is doing good work for all.

Wm. Irvine's Letter to: Harry McNeary

My dear Harry,
Arthur Page sent me on your letter to him of 8/9/21, which same I was glad to see. You begin by saying "the Lord will make everything manifest in His own time." I would rather have had you say, "He has made everyone manifest in His own time." These past 7 years have been His own time for revealing the secrets of men's hearts, and I don't know any who have not been revealed. But the trouble is they have not eyes to see, any more than the Sons of God in Noah's day, or the Egyptians of Moses' day, the Philistines of Samson's day, the Israelites of David's day, or any of the prophets; nor the scribes and Pharisees of Jesus' day, nor the Christians of the Apostles' day. It seems a new experience to become the sinner, but it's the only way God knows of turning men inside out.
No amount of righteousness in the anointed of God could ever reveal the hidden unregenerate conditions of heart known only to God. The casting down of God's Anointed has been the method in every age, and there are no single exceptions given in the book; and the method is always suited to the time and age. He not only does that, but Satan enters into the unregenerate as the seal of their condition before God and man. After 7 years experience, I can see as clearly as the fingers on my hand God's wondrous wisdom in all that happened in The Testimony.
I don't forget the last time I spoke to you, with your bike and lamp, and even then I was conscious that Satan had found a place in your heart; tho my hope was that it was only a spasm. Your absence in the meetings next day, your attitude and words in Melbourne only convinced me. This I have seen in many since; and to go on in that condition, seeking for fruit, only adds proof of the fact that they had never tasted that the Lord was gracious. No man can do what you did to me and live. Any lawyer, reading the New Testament, could not fail to prove that from the plain words and works of Jesus. I say this, not to accuse or condemn you, but that you may see clearly the foundation facts so that you may be wise.
The cause in me was only the method of God for the separation of the precious from the vile. The prodigal son was the precious being perfected; the elder brother was the vile being manifested, or turned inside out. The vile in God's sight are always very clean before men. It was at the end of days that Cain and Abel brought their offering; the one, the fruit of the ground; all that a man can do and be for God.
The Lamb is all that God can be or do for a man, make him like to the lamb Son of God; who was ever for the sinner, and ever against all who were the accusers and despisers of the sinner in Zion. It was not Abel's righteousness that gave Cain his opportunity for anger, wrath and killing; it was Abel's sin. Noah's use, or misuse of wine, no doubt was the cause for his rejection by the sons and daughters of men, which kept them from hearing the voice of God; and being warned and preparing. To measure the anointed of God by his sin is God's way of making them manifest. They were so busy doing the work of God, and multiplying, that they never heard or saw: till the flood came and took them all away.
I suppose there would be many sitting on the wall of "wait and see" that you speak of, but the waters that covered the mountains would cover the wall.
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the son of man. Judgment wrought from Heaven is always by a man on the Earth, and one who is to suffer many things and be rejected: Luke 17. The wicked, holy seed have always been so busy looking to the Lord that they failed to see the man of the Lord by whom their judgment was being accomplished. Moses was a murderer, in the eyes of the Egyptians; during the 40 years he was being prepared as the son of man to deliver the oppressed and to destroy the oppressors in the Red Sea. This is the mercy, which endureth forever.
Samson, the judge of Israel for 20 years, was in prison: grinding with his eyes out, when he was being prepared for the destruction of the Israel Philistines. He had fought and destroyed the Philistines, outside, for 20 years. Now, at the end, he was to gather the Philistine seed who were inside for their judgment. And every seed who was wicked, was gathered together. You can see how much more blind they were than Samson. Samson was the lamb who revealed the hearts of those men; and he became the lion who destroyed them. Samson's sin was as much of God, as the power he got to destroy those who were revealed by his sin. Sin lieth at the door as the test as to what men will do. If men do well by the sinner, as God does, he will be accepted as the lamb seed; if he does not well, then he is revealed as the wicked seed, and perishes.
David had warred against the Philistines and "ites" enemies of God for 40 years, till he had conquered them all and set up Israel as a kingdom. When this work was finished, he sinned; and the work of perfecting him began, and the revealing of the wicked seed around him in the kingdom who sat at His table, and went and came from the house of the Holy, and took sweet counsel together. Till the day of his death, the sword of the wicked seed in Israel never departed from his house. But every eye, ear, tongue, hand and heart that were formed against him, perished; and today, weep, wail and gnash their teeth as they look back on their holy, wicked hypocrisy. David's Psalms reveal the lamb and lion in David; and it would be foolish to try and read the words he wrote as having reference to any who were outside Israel. His language, to the seed who measured him by his sin, is only equaled and excelled by the words of Jesus to the accusing seed of His day.
You will find David speaks much of the wolf, dog, hog, and goat of Israel. He was speaking of those with whom he had associated for 40 years, and who owed all they had to his being the Anointed of God. Jesus did not warn the Gentile world, or the Jews, about becoming wolf, dog, hog, or goat but His own disciples. It's only possible to become the zoo when men have had the opportunity of hearing the words of God from anointed lips. The same human and divine privileges, which made Abel the Lamb accepted of God, also produced Cain: who slew his brother.
It's worth noticing that Cain did not become less fruitful, but more fruitful after killing his brother Abel. The presence of the anointed Lamb of God Seed, rather, hinders the fruitfulness of the Wicked Seed. When the spirit of God ceases to strive with men, you can produce more, and have much more to appeal to the eyes of men. This is part of the delusion, and explains why the whole world lieth in the arms of the Wicked One.
The spirit of Antichrist is not what is opposed to the true church, or Testimony, but the spirit which gets control of the church or Testimony, when the rejection of the Anointed Seed of God takes place; to separate the few who are born and anointed of the Spirit from the many who have been born of blood, the will of the flesh: or the will of man. In other words, the many are those who have entered the wide gate, and walk in the broad way of profession in the way, truth and life, but who are not born or anointed of the Spirit. Those who have believed the report of the anointed, of God and to whom the arm of the Lord is revealed, become the few who are spoken of in Isaiah 53; as the suffering, rejected seed by the many rejecters who have heard, but never been born of God. The few who find the straight gate and the narrow way are always rejected by the many, who have entered by the wide gate and walk in the broad way of their own human interpretation of the way, truth and life.
The same way, truth and life, given by the anointed of God, produces the two seeds in The Testimony. Matthew 7 is a perfect outline of the two possibilities, in those who heard Jesus and saw His works; and also of all whom God has ever truly sent. The many false prophets, and false professors who follow them, become the rejecters of the true prophets and the few possessors of the lamb nature. The stone, which the builders reject, is the making of it the headstone of the corner of the building of that day. This stone is a stone of stumbling and rock of offense to all the wicked seed of that day and age, as all God's true servants have been. The Jesus way, which produces the few who offer the lamb sacrifice, also produces the many who bring the fruit of the ground.
I was very conscious of the fact that there were very many in The Testimony who were working for God, and very few whom God was working in or by; but how to produce what would make it all manifest, was all a mystery to me. But He knew, and did it with a master hand; for which I praise Him today. It was very unlikely that God would fail to reveal the wicked who were inside, after He had given us light on the wicked who were outside.
I look back very gratefully on all God's leading and dealings with us that placed me outside the holy, religious world when I was but a babe and a suckling; and the same unerring hand has done the same for the many, who had crept in unawares in name of the Jesus Way. I always can look back on the same shut door, deaf ears, accusing words; and cruel, heartless words and works of the righteous in their own eyes, and their stimulated activities and fruitfulness. But I could also recognize that God was outside with me, while the evidence on the inside left no doubt in my mind that all their holy activities were in words and form; and such has been all the evidence in The Testimony for the past 7 years.
One perfected lamb sacrifice is, in God's sight, of more value than a world full of fruit of the ground. I have very many tender memories of days spent with my Cain brothers, and have often wondered that even human nature would not appeal to their cruel, wicked hearts. But when Satan enters in, it's death: both to what's human and divine. Cain said, "Am I my brother's keeper?" showing that he had not only killed his brother, but killed all the human in himself, and left himself a poor, miserable sepulchre, or corpse; trying to forget who he was, and the change that had been wrought in him.
The poor old Heaven and Earth is fast passing to its doom. The world newspapers recognize it, and all they have left to hope in is "if", and that "if" will soon be taken away, when we see the 2nd woe begin by a world wide religious war, and a world wide famine. That will be the beginning of the falling away period, when men will find out that all their great religious profession, etc., had only the wickedness of the world for its foundation. Then we will see God's eternal kingdom founded, and spread to the nations. Those who find a place in the everlasting gospel, will be safe from fear of all the terrible things; which will finish the wicked reign on Earth of 6,000 years, and make room for a new Heaven, and a new Earth: where the Cain seed will be forever shut out.
For without are dogs, who bark, bite, and devour men for their sins; sorcerers, who do the work of Satan in name of God and Jesus; whoremongers, who go a whoring from their God, and fill the Earth full of violence in name of gospel; murderers, of the Cain sort, who hate their brother, and turn their back on him because of his sins; idolaters, who worship God by the creation of their own hearts, heads and hands; and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie, or do and say what the Devil inspires, in name of Jesus and the Holy Ghost and God the Father.
I look upon it as the mercy of God to you, that you should have tasted the wickedness of your brethren; but that will be little value if you don't get to see where and when your own heart was made manifest: and forsake your wicked ways and unrighteous thoughts, and return to the Lord. Isaiah 55 is not gospel for sinners, but for the wicked in the way. Read it carefully, and you will see it. It was the message of Isaiah, the rejected of Israel, to his wicked persecutors. He saw their thirst and poverty, and how they spent their money for that which was not bread, and their labor for that which gave no satisfaction.
I ask you to stop and think while yet you have a chance. Incline your ear; hear, and your soul shall live. There's nothing but sorrow ahead for all who have been overcome of the Wicked One.

P.S. You speak of a lack of the family spirit, and the anointing of God, which was known at certain times. Am I to label The Testimony the synagogue of Satan and hopeless because these are lacking? If the family spirit is not present, nor the anointing of God, is that not proof of manifestation and the revealing of the secrets of men's heart? That is the negative side. The positive proof is seen in the accusing, judging, rejecting spirit un-manifested toward yourself, and also Arthur Page. If we have not seen God at any time, and we can only know those who are of God by their love to their brother, whom they have seen: and this love is lacking, surely it's proof that they have not seen God.
If love of God turns our hearts and face toward the sinner world, is it not hatred, which turns our face from our brother? We have not seen Satan at any time, but we know his works when made manifest in the flesh of those who name God's name. When the spirit of God ruled The Testimony, you were welcomed with all your faults and failings, and they were many; when Satan got the mastery, you are rejected with all your zeal, sacrifices, suffering and fruit. Is this not the work of the synagogue, or Assembly of God (by their profession) but in- dwelt by the Wicked One as seen by their words and works? When John of Patmos was witnessing these things to the church which had rejected him, was he thinking of the church as a synagogue of Satan; or what did he mean? Was he not seeking to comfort those who were suffering in the churches because of their relationship to him in Patmos? Would all who did not see eye to eye with John, be sheep or the zoo?
Those who did not see eye to eye with Noah, Moses, Samson, David, the prophets, Jesus and the true apostles were dogs, hogs, wolves and goats. But only the sheep can know these things; they are hid from the zoo. If you can believe that the saints and workers of Australia and New Zealand can treat you as they have, and be anything else then the synagogue of Satan, you must be blind and dead indeed. No live sheep can fail to see and understand the full meaning of these signs. We can only know wolves in sheep's clothing by what they do to others. We can't go inside to know dog from sheep; it's all made manifest by their works. Wolf may bite dog, hog, or goat, but that won't make them sheep. We need to have a clearer test than that; and you will find that the attitude toward the Son of man, for his day, is always the surer test.
Korah, Dathan, Abiram and company were men whom Moses had made princes in the congregation. They had become famous, and men of renown throughout the camp. They had a large following. How do we know they were a wicked, devil possessed seed? only by their attitude towards Moses. And even after God had destroyed them, He had to destroy 10,000 who still believed they were servants of God. God was more in Moses than all the camp; and only those who were true to him, were following the Lord. You could not have known the hearts of those who were the wicked seed when they crossed the Red Sea, any more than you could tell who are the children of God in baptism; nor could you have told them by the gathering of the manna, any more than by fellowship in the gospel or meetings.
They all had the same privileges in baptism, manna, water out of the rock, and the pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. But their attitude toward Moses, the man of God, in the later years in the wilderness took their number; and made manifest the difference between Moses and all the others. Many came out of Egypt; few entered the Promised Land. They were buried in the wilderness, to show where they belonged. They were of the Earth, Earthy; and their words and works declared what they were inside before God; and that was revealed by their attitude toward Moses. Moses was revealed as the lamb, in his dealings with them; and as the lion, in their destruction. Moses was more blamed, accused, and spoken against, and rebelled against than any or all in the camp; because be was being perfected as a lamb of God, and because he was the lion by the anointing of God.
The record of the whole book shows that the man God anointed to begin the work, is the one He uses to finish it; and it's always revealed in similar ways. The wicked always are the rejecters; the Lamb of God seed, led by the anointed of God, are the rejected. The whole Bible is a record of the few men who were the anointed of God bringing blessing to many; and then rejected by the many, that the few sheep might be gathered around the man of God, who becomes the least; as the wicked become the greatest.
I Corinthians 10, read in the light of spiritual Israel, gives us much light. Ye cannot drink the cup of devils, and of the Lord at the same time. This chapter shows how men may have all the privileges God can give and yet perish. These things happened to Israel, according to the flesh, that Israel, according to the spirit, might learn and fear. These are our examples that we should not lust after evil things.
Idolaters: they sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play; or were triflers with what was given of God by Moses. They committed fornication with the Ham seed. Harlot: you have committed fornication with the Ham seed, and gone a whoring from the love of God; as the whole religious, harlot hearted world has done.
You have tempted Christ, by your speaking against the man of God's choice; and now, you see serpents on every hand, and the people dying. And when I left the serpent on a pole, that you may see what is wrong and how to be cured, you won't even look; and so, you will all perish. You murmur against the way God has led, and the same destroyer will destroy you. These things happened to Israel of the flesh that we of the spirit may be warned. “Wherefore let him that thinketh that he standeth take heed, lest he fall into the same of evil.” You have made the table and fellowship of the Lord a cup and fellowship of devils, by your words and works; and like them, can't see it till the penalty comes. If these things were dangers to the Corinthians, they must be the dangers to the many who are tempted to speak evil of the man God chose to lead you out of Egypt.
Conventions, for the past 7 years, have been nothing but orgies of spiritual fornication; with the vilest in God's sight on the platform. They sat down to eat and drink what reminds them of the love and death for sins, and rose up to play at every form of wickedness and evil speaking.
I do not hesitate to say that the man who could turn his back on me, would have turned his back on Jesus in the day when He was handed over into the hands of the wicked professors; for He, Jesus, was more a sinner in the eyes of the wicked seed than any other man of any age and He was the only one who did no sin; all the others were sinners. It was their sins that made them feel their need of God to begin with. It was their sins that kept them feeling their need of God. It was their sins that made them to see and feel the vanity of all else than the loving, faithful God. As I look back over my life, I owe more to my sins than any other thing in life, apart from God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. The elder brother shows us what our righteousness, faithfulness, suffering and sacrifice can do for us when we forget our sins.
We can never be made sin bearing seed of God in any other way, than by personal experience of being a sinner to begin, and finish. It's the foundation of all our true experience of God. Forgive me as I forgive, is the language of the seed of God. The Lamb of God seed is always so conscious of their own sins, and the need of daily forgiveness, that they can never take stock in, or speak of other peoples sins: but to forgive them, comfort and assure them of the eternal love and forgiveness of God, thru the death of Jesus, the Lamb of God.
The wicked are those who cover their sins, and uncover the sins of others; and seek to rob the sinner of all that God so freely gives, and loves to give, adding to the sufferings of the sinner and standing in his way as the adversary. The men who stood around the cross were not thinking about their sins, but their righteousness; even to the killing of the Son of God, in name of God, and according to the scriptures; and in order to save the people and Testimony they held for God, and before the world. On their lips was the cry: away with Him, crucify Him. I can hear the echo of those words from the lips of The Testimony for seven years past, as they foam out their own shame. The worst man in the world was hanging between two thieves. The best men, in the kingdom of God, were moving amongst the people; devil possessed, stirring them up to hate and shout for His death; and seeking to justify it by every art and craft known to men: by the Bible, by tradition, doctrine, and holy hypocrisy. This, I believe, has been the principle work of the whole Testimony for 7 years; not only to me, but to hundreds of others; and it's worse today, and more manifest than ever it was.
Surely they have been well manifested; and that, by the man who had God enough in him and with him to gather them; and God in him and with him to choose the lamb seed; and gather the wicked together for their own destruction. Jesus died between 2 thieves; the one on the right hand, the justifier of the anointed of God; the other the justifier of the wicked. Jesus' words, to the thief on His right hand, show us His attitude today to all who are the justifiers of the anointed; even tho rejected by the wicked multitude who stood around the cross: with the heart of Cain, and his anger and looks and words.
My friends know, in their own experience today, the voice of the Son of God in assurance that, in spite of their sins, they will have as hearty a welcome in Heaven as the thief. And my enemies know, in their own experience, what the left hand accusing thief knew; the darkness, death and silence of God, was as the voice of God to The Testimony for 20 years. And I bear witness today that these 7 years have been sweeter and clearer to me, than all the years before. For it's only as the wickedness of the wicked is let loose, that you can prove it. Not once has He failed to give me comfort, understanding and revelation; while every day brought me added proof of the darkness, death and silence of God reigning in the hearts of those who profess to be the righteous.
The activities of The Testimony remind me of the activities of the multitude, after they went home to keep the Passover feast. They never had a better feast; more love for one another. Their zeal, prayers, gifts and sacrifices were all stimulated by the wondrous encouragement they had in the holy zeal of the leaders of the people. I could never fully understand all it would mean, till having spent these last 2 years living in Jerusalem amongst the Jews; and am certain nobody could value it more than he who has been made the victim, in these the most wonderful days in the worlds history.
His resurrection from the dead, after three days, is very suggestive of all the marks of The Testimony these days; when the man who was supposed to be dead and buried, gives evidence of life, in spite of all their wonderful assurance: and the few have discovered that He is alive and well; and on the way to the place and time of the judgment to the wicked persecutors. All the craft, lies, misrepresentation and bribery of those who have heard, is very comical; added to the marshalling of all the head men to prove that He is dead, and not alive.
What a campaign there would be amongst the Jewish leaders who had brought about His death as the worst man in the world. What proof of His sin, His being a child of fornication, His heresy, His blasphemy: in speaking against the high, holy leaders who had rejected Him without either a hearing or a trial; what proofs of His false prophecy they would be able to give. And even the Jews to this day are fed on these same lies; even after they have suffered the darkness and silence of God for 1850 years. Most of the prophecies of Jesus are now about to be fulfilled; but they don't see. They are only gathering to Jerusalem to be judged, with all the Gentile nations and heathen.
But the Jews are not more blind than The Testimony is today. The same veil was put over their heart: the same silence of God: the same zeal for form, doctrine, tradition and morality; the same slavish worship, prayer and attention to the feasts, etc., are all quite noticeable. The same attempt to beautify the dead corpse, and to show it profoundest respect, is noticeable. I could not have been more favoured than I have been here.
But the Jews, and The Testimony, and the whole wicked, harlot hearted world are soon to find out that Jesus lives in Heaven; as The Testimony will know that I live on the Earth. And they who pierced both Him and me, will mourn; because the day of vengeance has come on all who have been the shedders of the blood of every age; who are now to be buried and cleared off the Earth, bag and baggage; to make room for their victims to come back and reign, where they were made to suffer.
