1921 - 1928 - Cooney travelled around the world for 7 years visiting various countries and overseers. Wilson Reid wrote: "...and Eddie and Willie Gill went abroad.  It was then hoped that as Eddie would mingle with the other brothers in the other countries that he would be helped.
