1913 New Zealand Sister Workers List
Dounreay, Caithness
2.12.1913
My dear Willie, (Gill)
I am giving you a complete list of the Australian sisters, there are none in NZ at present. I also give a list of those in NZ who were in the work and are now at secular employment.
There may be slight changes since last I heard. I don’t know the exact postal addresses of Amy Lawson, Mary McLeod or the 2 who are near Ohakune, but I give the home addresses of all which will find them, except as I say Amy Lawson’s who has lately gone home. She was previously at domestic service near Carterton – address c/o C. Jenson, Waiharakeke, Carterton. I will ask Polly Hodgins to send you the correct addresses of above 4 as I think she has them.
I hope I won’t be required as I don’t see what evidence I could give. These NZ addresses won’t surely be needed as they are all Colonial women.
Yours in Christ,
W. J. Hughes

These women are all New Zealanders.

Amy Lawson 3 years and all the others 1 year, having been advised to better fit themselves if they are anxious to preach at a later date.
